Michael Winterbottom's "This England" starts tonight on @skytv Sky Atlantic and the whole series on NowTV. A terrific project to have been a part of. #thisengland #skytv

Phew! Looks like I picked the wrong day to walk the entirety of the M25 dressed as Rumpole of the Bailey and drinking nothing but Bovril #heatwave

Oasis were amazing tonight. Especially their cover of “Gertcha” by Chas ‘n’ Dave.

The pet abduction bill, brought in last year, described pets as “…cats and dogs are not inanimate objects but sentient beings capable of experiencing distress and other emotional trauma” surely this must extend to physical attack
Replying to @metpoliceuk
@metpoliceuk @MetCC 6 months ago Bennie was attacked by another dog and we are still waiting for the police to complete the case for a control order on the other dog. Every day I live in a constant state of fear and anxiety until the dog is muzzled #justiceforbennie

Is it any surprise that a paranoid conspiracy theorist like Trump falls for Putin propaganda?

Informative thread
We've seen a few comments querying if gritters have been out in Liverpool. Yes. 7 vehicles treat our major routes covering 600km on each run. The 13th run since Sat starts shortly. But there's some confusion about the impact of gritting. So let's debunk some myths 🧵...

What defines the word “success”? The word is misconstrued in my eyes. Success shouldn’t be an end goal…especially in the film industry. I succeeded this week because I did something good for my family and my dog. Success, like failure, is fleeting. Be kind and be grateful. ❤️

Phew! Looks like I picked the wrong day to stand around a burning brazier singing acapella like Troop did in the 90s film “New Jack City” #heatwave

Quite right. I was fortunate to have been a member of the Television Workshop in the 80s. A chance for working class youngsters to get a taste of the arts, without fee or favour. BBC Doctors was a show that held a door open for all.
Up until a few weeks ago the BBC made more or less this EXACT thing

I was fortunate to be a part of this. Fantastic news that Andrew has been nominated for a BAFTA. Perhaps there could be a series…

It’s the end of an era as @BBCDoctors wrap on their final day of filming. I’ve been fortunate to have been included in this show over the years and it is close to a family in front of and behind the scenes. A truly collaborative bit of telly. It will be sadly missed #BBCDoctors

I cooked my first Burns night dinner. I had no idea a haggis took so long to cook! The Islay whisky sauce was a winner though. Delicious. #BurnsNight
