Here’s a breakdown of SLU’s non conference opponents and their projected efficiency. My goal for SLU would be: - Go minimum 3-3 against the teams in that upper tier, but 4-2 is certainly doable - Go unbeaten against the rest That’s 9-3/10-2 against non-con D1 comp #SLU

No @A10MBB coaches in the leaders in win probability added from challenges last season, so I pulled them all out from last season here. I was hesitant to read much into coaches with -WPA as it’s a small sample so one challenge going against you could sink your total.

With preseason projections rolling out, I thought it would be interesting to see how different sites are projecting the Atlantic 10 VCU is rated the best by a comfortable margin via Torvik and EvanMiya, with SLU narrowly edging them out on KenPom

Other observations: - Projections are all over the place on George Washington - KenPom is much higher on Fordham and much lower on Bonaventure compared to the other sites - EvanMiya is significantly higher on Loyola Chicago

Legitimately a must watch for any fan of basketball at any level. Analytics comes with the stigma of being complicated to understand, but this is the single best summary a coach can give of the goals of the subject, and how a team uses them to achieve success.
