This is worth reading for everyone rotting here.
I stopped when I realized I was in a movement that wasn't moving anywhere.
This is an open letter to the people still stuck in it.

My friends on the Left haven’t loved me for saying this but Ossoff is the Dems’ strongest general election by such a large margin the party would be nuts to nominate anyone else.

Hasan Piker says if Jon Ossoff was a progressive he would be the next President
"I don't agree with him, his policy record is dogshit, he's unbelievably conservative, far more than I thought he would be. But he is far too skilled to be doing a better version of what Pete Buttigieg does.
If Jon Ossoff was a progressive, if he was like, close to Abdul in his values, he would be the next President of the United States of America."

I really can't reiterate enough how much damage the constant big chungus 80 IQ selection process for ICE agents is currently doing to the brand and public perception of the right. Electoral victory via razor thin margins, and then, this.

US voters today were two to one against Trump’s tariffs.
This sends a clear message not only to the Administration, but to Democrats who have been toying with protectionism: it’s a big political loser.
Canada was 💯 right not to rush a “deal” before today’s election.

Our political system was not designed to function in a constant state of outrage and paranoia. It can handle a lot, and we've been through a lot, to be sure. Hell, this country fought one of the bloodiest civil wars in human history. But the system was clearly not designed for the social media age, and we have to find a way to adapt. That doesnt mean the system has to change, necessarily, but some of the incentives might need to.
I think one of the worst aspects of this social media era is how it brought so many people into politics who previously didn't care. And that's part of the problem, is how casual it became for these folks. Sometimes it's fun to deride "career politicians" - but there's actually a lot of value in people who have dedicated themselves to public service, because they understand how the sausage gets made.
Right now we're living through a moment dominated by noise. The sooner we can get back to (relative) quiet, the better.

This is why the President suffered such a massive defeat — People are simply tired of the blatant lies.
Here he finally admits that Iran is the reason gas prices have skyrocketed… after he wrongfully blamed Ukraine for it 🤷♂️

Texas is 40% white and 40% Hispanic, and we've seen virtually zero in-migration or change in that under Trump.
PLEASE do not run with this hyper-online narrative that an "Indian invasion" - TX is 1% Indian American - caused the GOP loss.
"This is not the same country it was even six years ago. Everybody is looking at Texas starting to go Blue. This is something people have been warning about for decades. The demographic situation in Texas has changed." - @JohnDoyle

BREAKING: Young men just swung 38 points toward Democrats.
In 2024: Young men ages 18–29 backed Trump by 14 points (56% to 42%), the first time a Republican presidential candidate won a majority of them since 1988
In 2026: They backed Democratic House candidates by 24 points (58% to 34%), per early CIRCLE exit poll data

After last night, many are saying, often sarcastically, "woke is back!" The reality is that woke never really went away. That said, the most obnoxious aspects of woke will, in fact, be canned and stored in the cellar. For example, Blue Colorado seems to have narrowly passed a proposition banning transgender surgery for minors. More things like this will occur.
What I do see as playing a major role in the next two years is "National Slopulism." Surprisingly, this is a countervailing force to polarization and partisanship. It is a left-right coalition that believes,
1) Israel is Hitler and committing a genocide;
2) The Epstein files haven't been released; pedophiles still reign in Washington;
3) Our support of Ukraine is a big reason for the price of eggs; Putin just wants peace!
Yes, I might be describing their views a bit sarcastically; however, it is clear that they are
1) anti-Israel, maybe pro-Hamas;
2) anti-Ukraine, maybe pro-Putin;
3) carrying some baggage from QAnon;
4) vaguely populist and socialist with no good solutions.
This is the Tucker-Hasan-Candace-Dugin coalition, and the slopulists are "beyond left and right" in a way that conservatives and liberals are not. Many are highly sympathetic towards "JD" Vance. Many have talked about a Third Party. And obviously, there are different factions and dynamics within this unruly coalition—but they agree on a remarkable number of things.
I might even sympathize with some of the critiques of this grouping, though not with their solutions. My point is that there will be a Slopulist attack on the rational center of the American Empire.
Trump, in many ways, invented this coalition; however, he will now be subject to their ire and probably brought down by it. Also, the degree to which this group is pro-Russia—and, in many cases, funded by the Kremlin—should not be underestimated. Wild times ahead!

That's a lot of words to say I am urging people to vote for corrupt Russian bought prostitutes who would sell their mother, Western allies and alliances, and entire nations to enrich themselves.
MAGA did more damage to the West and American hegemony than any commie ever could.
P. S. Nobody said you can't be right wing and support Ukraine, in fact, that would be natural thing. Because Ukraine actually embodies the virtues conservatives claim to have. Problem being... MAGA/Republicans of today have non of these virtues and Republicans who did, were booted out of the party or left on their own.
For a guy (allegedly) so concerned with preserving the West and its culture/values, endorsing the most, using your language, "3rd worldist" government, with zero regard for the constitution, rule of law, decency and morality in the West is hilarious lol

The hate I’ve received for this from pro-Ukraine accounts is stupid. Yes I strongly, strongly dislike Trump’s approach to Ukraine. But you have to have some right wingers in the Ukraine cause like me so that it is a bipartisan issue.
I have to be inside the tent in order to convince American right wingers of the justice of the Ukrainian cause. I have a number of Trump admin people following me and wherever I can I try to post about Ukraine so that they can see the truth about the horrors Russia perpetrates in Ukraine.
I’m not joining anti-West communists simply because I don’t like Trump’s position on Ukraine. Abdul El-Sayed has over and over again expressed sympathy for radical Islamist forces and associates with communists like Hasan Piker. Why would I suddenly support him as a right winger because I disagree with Trump on Ukraine. I have to be inside the tent in order to try influence American right wingers.
Democrat policies allowed this guy with dozens of prior criminal offences to go free and stab this innocent woman to death. I want basic order, I support right wing policies on crime and immigration. That means I support the right wing party in America.
There are pro-Ukraine Republican legislators like Joe Wilson. The average Republican voter supports Ukraine. I will continue to try use whatever influence I have to push for a pro-Ukraine position. I’m not joining communists simply because I strongly dislike Teump’s stance on Ukraine.

I’m pissed off at Republican corruption and incompetence because I committed social suicide to support right wing politics but too many elements of the right are consistently retarded, corrupt and incompetent
If you ask people to commit social suicide you should at least commit to the highest standards of ethical and moral probity - no dodgy land deals with weird third world dictators, no crypto pump and dumps, no fucking Polymarket insider trading, no stock flipping

“Eighty percent of Americans think positively of Canada. No one was clamoring for a big trade fight with our northern neighbor — particularly not any Republican who had to run for office in a state that borders Canada.”
It’s not just the war with Iran that’s turned into a foreign policy mess. The administration has effectively switched America’s side in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine; as noted in yesterday’s Washington Post column, just 3 percent of Americans are more supportive of Russia than Ukraine. Every chance he gets, Trump gushes about what good friends he is with Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un and gets into irate feuds with the government of countries like the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Canada. Eighty percent of Americans think positively of Canada. No one was clamoring for a big trade fight with our northern neighbor — particularly not any Republican who had to run for office in a state that borders Canada.
