Folks, over the last 5 months during my long break, I attended 500 meetings including $1000/person PC party fundraisers, many visits to chocolate & tasty treat factories, numerous photo ops such as my famous FordFest & gravy plane trips to US TV networks.🤨
Premier Ford himself raises to answer the leader of the opposition, Marit Stiles, about the 21-week break the legislature got and whether the Premier had "forgotten about the people of Ontario."

Doug Ford flipped the bird to Ontarians as the PC party & Ford won't reimburse Ontarians over $190,882 after his $30M gravy plane incurred additional cost:
• Aircraft Management Services: $140,000
• Outside Legal Counsel: $34,000
• Aviation Acquisition Support: $18,000
Premier Ford faced tough questions on the alleged misuse of public money on the first day of the fall sitting.
Ford defended Stan Cho’s $22,500 pay bump.: "I fired him from being a minister. He admitted he made a mistake. He's paid it back, and now he's going to be a parliamentary assistant."
He also insisted his government was quick to act to stop "fraudsters" from exploiting the OSAP system

@fordnation in 2018 - "I will be the most transparent and accountable Premier".
"Can you explain why this member is getting a promotion after he ripped off the people of this province?"
On the first day of the fall sitting, Premier Ford dodges questions about why Stan Cho, who resigned from cabinet this summer after charging taxpayers for local hotel stays, has been promoted to an education role with a $22K pay bump.

Welcome back to work Doug!

💔 Heartbreaking news from Kherson.
Today, October 27, Volodymyr Obertas, press officer of Ukraine’s 34th Marine Brigade, was killed by an explosive device in Kherson while accompanying medical personnel.
Volodymyr was the talented man behind the wonderful videos we’ve received from the 34th Marine Brigade.
He was originally from Oleshky, the Russian-occupied town across the Dnipro River. He dreamed of returning home.
And here is the heartbreaking irony.
Volodymyr created the video that spread across social media, drawing attention to the desperate situation in Oleshky and helping build momentum for the evacuation of its residents.
Today, on the very first day of the announced ceasefire intended to allow that evacuation, he was killed. Just a few kilometres from his hometown, without ever seeing the outcome of the mission that meant so much to him.
A man who used his camera to show the world what was happening in Ukraine has become another victim of Russia’s war.
Rest in peace, Volodymyr. 🕯️🇺🇦
My deepest condolences to his family, friends and fellow Marines.

Conservatives would have caved in the first weeks after Trump's tariffs, just like Poilievre did. They won't fight for Canada, she's doing it.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 IF STORM SHADOW CAN REACH RUSSIA, IMAGINE WHAT AN UNRESTRICTED UKRAINIAN ARSENAL COULD DO 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇩🇪
British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles have been demonstrating their value to Ukraine, with recent strikes drawing renewed attention to the vulnerability of Russian military and defence-industrial infrastructure.
Now imagine Ukraine operating with a much broader selection of Western long-range weapons, without political restrictions on their employment against legitimate military targets.
American ATACMS ballistic missiles. German Taurus cruise missiles. American JASSM-ER air-launched missiles. Tomahawk cruise missiles.
These are different weapons, with different ranges, flight profiles, launch requirements and operational advantages. They are not interchangeable, and Ukraine would need compatible launch platforms, sufficient ammunition and the necessary targeting capabilities to employ them effectively.
But the strategic implications of combining such systems would be considerable.
Russia would face a more complicated defensive problem, having to protect military airfields, ammunition depots, logistics hubs, command facilities and defence-industrial sites against several types of long-range threats.
That would force Moscow to make difficult choices about where to concentrate its air defences and which military assets to prioritize.
Long-range weapons cannot win a war by themselves, and even sophisticated missiles can be intercepted. But they can make it significantly harder for an invading army to sustain operations while treating infrastructure deep behind the front as relatively secure.
Storm Shadow has already shown why long-range precision strike capabilities matter.
The bigger question is how much Ukraine’s operational options would expand if it had access to the full range of Western systems, in meaningful quantities and without the restrictions that have repeatedly shaped their use.
