I’ve been hard on Makai, but this was his one truly impressive play of the game (don’t care about shallow crossers) - body control, hands, toughness. Was open for a long 4Q TD when McKee took the sack too. Issue remains he’s not dynamic and best fit seems to be high volume slot.
Really hope fans in attendance put aside their disappointment w/ this season and treat halftime as a celebration of how Lurie has turned the Eagles into a premier, elite, CHAMPIONSHIP franchise. Should be a show of immense respect and gratitude. Then boo their hearts out in 3Q.
Jeffrey Lurie will be inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame tonight at halftime 🦅

How is Makai Lemon (18-127-0 w/ what seems like 0 YAC, bottom-3 efficiency at the WR position, and so far looking like he can't play at this level) the choice for this graphic instead of Saquon or Jalen Carter??? xitter.cf/NFL/status/21147198089…
“He’s a winner” is height of simplemindedness and means you’re incapable of being honest about what you’re watching (+ what the metrics show) - if you’re even watching - and not at all process oriented. When talent adv isn’t significant or Hurts isn’t God, Sirianni doesn’t win.
I’ve been active on this hellscape for over 16 years and no exaggeration this could be the worst tweet I’ve ever seen. Multiple levels of astonishingly delusional brain rot, to the point I was 1000% convinced it had to be sarcasm.
This is no small part of why the NFL product is the worst it has ever been btw

And as a direct result the Sixers had the best regular season comeback in team history. So, what did we learn? The evergreen advice: Bullying works.
People still can’t fathom these Eagles are a bottom-5 team in the NFL, and yes that includes being worst in the disgusting NFC East, and that getting back Dickerson and Saquon won’t matter much because of how bad the coaching is on offense
Something to keep in mind about @eagles. Their next 7 games: H v. DAL, at WAS, H v. NYG, H v. PIT, at DAL, at ARI, H v. IND. Combined record of next 7 opp.: 16-24-2. Even without Hurts, it's way too early to wave the white flag. Especially in the godawful NFC East.
Benefit of terrible coaching is that leadership doesn’t have to “give up” on season to achieve optimal outcome of extracting draft capital value from players who aren’t in 3-year vision AND securing a top 10 (5?!) pick - team is putrid regardless. We’re in “ethical tank” waters.
Hopefully it shakes out to be Maxey 1, Brown 2, Lebron 3, Embiid 4, VJ 5, and VJ will be 3 plenty with the amount of load management Lebron and Embiid will get throughout the season. Also this tweet shows an ignorant misunderstanding of VJ’s ethos as a player.
