“I don’t know. I do not know. I hear a lot of politicians say there was no imminent threat from Iran. That immediately gets my back up, because a threat is a threat. They’ve been raping, killing, and murdering for 47 years. Why? The Western world allowed proxy wars. I mean, we learned a lesson that we should have gone years ago at the head of the state. We should have killed the head of state.
And so now we have more risk and maybe more opportunity, because people want peace in the Middle East. It’s a terrible situation. I don’t know the outcome. I hope there’s a Plan B or a Plan C. I want us to prevail in a way that makes sense. I don’t know what the right thing to do was, but I’m not going to say we should have done nothing.
Asked whether the Strait of Hormuz needs to reopen at almost any cost, Dimon continued:
“I think it will eventually be reopened. I don’t know. The military can plan for things like this for 40 years. They have plans. I don’t know what the plans are, and I hope it works. I just don’t know.”

Today was absolutely ridiculous on the internet, although what I witnessed was far more disturbing than funny. We are living in some of the most irrational times imaginable.
Watching so many women insist that other women should fall in line, remain silent, and never question or challenge the Muslim Brotherhood is astonishing. Imagine having the freedom to speak, think, and challenge authority, only to use that freedom to shame other women for exercising those very rights.
History has shown us repeatedly how societies lose their freedoms. It rarely happens overnight. It happens when people stop asking questions, excuse dangerous ideologies, abandon critical thinking, and convince themselves that confronting uncomfortable truths is somehow more dangerous than the threats themselves.
We have become a society that teaches too little history, demands too little intellectual honesty, and mistakes ideological conformity for moral virtue. The tragedy is that we have centuries of history to learn from, yet so many seem determined to repeat its worst lessons.
Great societies do not survive by teaching people what to think and whom to OBEY. They survive by teaching people how to think, how to question, and why their freedoms are worth defending.

Had a long talk with a Jewish colleague who had established deep ties with a thriving church congregation where the teaching on Israel and the Jewish people was biblically sound and strong.
Then came October 7 and the Hamas-inspired demonization of Israel and the Jewish people from all corners of society. Just like that, the pastor and the church caved and turned on their longtime Jewish ‘friend.’ Many pastors, even if they address difficult topics, will avoid Israel like the plague. They know that, if they preach the truth — especially now — all the antisemites in their congregation will leave.
All of this is foretold in scripture. The nations of the earth, what Psalm 83 calls a confederacy, will come against Israel, convinced that they’re doing the right thing. Included in that confederacy will be Christians seduced by that demonic spirit.
