My girlfriend never managed to build a good wake up routine with the iPhone alarm, so I told Claude to build her Good Alarm ⏰ Any song she owns, volume and fade per alarm, snooze from 1 to 30 min, and it rings through silent mode. github.com/joaomelorodrigues…

Finally added Image tracking (WebAR) to @cyango_ (huh cat likes)

Still trying to understand how to do that on my LG TV because the only thing it allows me to do is an apk running in dev mode, everything else is still LG OS...
Your smart TV is watching you back. Samsung and LG sets fingerprint everything on your screen. Even your PS5 over HDMI. That data goes to ad partners. You paid for the TV. They kept the business model. Then people pointed Claude at their TVs. Ads gone. Tracking gone. Laggy old sets suddenly running like new ones. One dev says his Samsung got 3x faster. Turns out the bloat was never a feature. It was the reason your TV felt broken. Now Anthropic shut it down. Ask Claude to reverse engineer your own TV and you get a refusal. That's the whole lesson. If an AI can say no to fixing hardware you own, it's not your AI. It's a rental with rules someone else wrote. Open weights. Local models. Your machine, your call.

I told Claude to rewrite a 13,000 line Mac app into 2,400 lines in 1 hour. FlycutX is a from-scratch Swift 6 rewrite of the Flycut clipboard manager, with zero dependencies, no network code and 19 MB at idle. Free and MIT licensed. github.com/joaomelorodrigues…

Loving Grok Bot @bot so far. I hope they bring more Cursor features to it.

Been using @bot and if they start supporting every other model, I think i'll settle with this tool. It's amazing and it actually works. Hope they keep improving it.

I can imagine how many devs are rethinking their lifes right now

REA (reverse engineer anything) is making me believe even more the moat is always who owns the data, the models and the metal. Even all these apps and tools the big AI companies are building will probably reverse engineered, copied, etc

Introducing xr/migrator. A free tool to easily migrate 3DVista, Pano2vr, Krpano, Pannellum, cloudpano and panotour projects. You spend time learning a tool that fights you and I hate that. For example, every 3DVista user I meet tells me the same thing: "It's clunky, hard to learn and limited in many aspects. We mainly got it because of the lifetime license, but it turned out a regret long term." Its not ready for the agentic era either. After you migrate your projects you can then jump to xr/studio and keep working from there. The 3D models, the 360 media, the splats, the UI...are entities in one story with many scenes, with actions, events, tags, etc. Edit, publish, and the same link runs on phone, desktop, AR, and VR. The agent can edit the open project through MCP as well. That same project can also run offline and work as PWA if you want. It's still in BETA and we need your feedback on it. It's a matter of time someone reverse engineers @unity too.

Here's the tutorial on how to use Cyango MCP with @cursor_ai I know you can just vibe code stuff, but building 3D experiences it's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to distribution, infrastructure, maintenance and making sure all clients are pleased. (We've been working on a set of new tools for @cyango_ for some months already, but I never got time and patience to record the videos)

Me no like this at all...

I haven't tried photoshop clone, but tried premiere clone and it worked good for a simple video edit. Some menus on mac were not working, but i guess its a matter of time
Indeed, utterly dysfunctional. It's ridiculous how much hype this nothing-burger suite is getting. What's this proving exactly? That you can slop a billion LOC of unusable apps? ok? who was contesting that even?

Can someone port CapCut too?
This guy re-created all the adobe apps with opus-5.5, ported them to rust, and opensourced them something really cool is happening
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These projects are partial open-source Rust reimplementations of Adobe apps (built rapidly with AI agents), not complete recreations; their READMEs and roadmaps document many missing features and features still in development. github.com/storytold/phot… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/vect… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/film… github.com/storytold/ligh… getartcraft.com

So..basically dots or @bot are linux machines with an AI gateway?

Sensationalism is breaking the society.
24
Charging for team/collaboration features is not a good move in 2026. AI is shrinking teams. Collaboration features made sense as a paywall when the team was the production unit. But AI is turning the solo op into the team itself. Few humans, few seats, less revenue.

Subscribed to Codex with business seats 26€/per seat just to test GPT-6 Astra. Did a prompt to create a 3D model of the Roman Temple in Évora (Portugal). Reached usage limit. The rumours of token spending are true.

Code is solved. Not maintenance.

Insurances companies are the worst scheme ever. They serve everything while serving nothing.
