🚨BEND, OREGON | Coach Megan Megan Lambert. A teacher at Silver Rail Elementary and "Coach Megan" to the girls of the Central Oregon Volleyball Club. In her first year coaching, she refused to be paid, asking instead that the money go toward players whose families couldn't afford for them to play. That's who she was making room for kids who might otherwise have been left on the sidelines. On Thursday, she was one of four lives lost at Silver Rail Elementary. Heidi, from the Central Oregon Volleyball Club, shared what so many who knew her are feeling: "She would have given you the shirt off her back, but you didn't give her the chance... you didn't give her the chance to be the great mom that we all knew she would be." A teacher. A coach. Someone who gave more than she ever took. Three children and the woman who spent her days caring for children like them. Bend lost all four on the same afternoon. #MeganLambert #BendOregon #SilverRailElementary #BendStrong #CentralOregon
