Blessed Tuesday 🙏🏻 Friends, we are $120 short for salaries, and we have $20 toward the first bag of food that we need to purchase starting Thursday. I know it sounds repetitive, but for those who can help, we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts—and for those who cannot, please help by spreading the word. Reaching more people is key to keeping things going.

The Humanitarian Putin 😔
12-year-old Artem Koval died in hospital today from injuries he got when a Russian drone struck a park in Nova Vodolaha. His 8-year-old sister, Arina, was killed that day, too. Their mom, Liliia, was also injured. Deepest condolences...

Today we received $10, thanks to Sarah ❤️‍🩹🥺. But if we don’t get more help, we’ll run out of food by the end of the week. We have some protein—50 kg—but that’s only half of what we need for the week. We need to pay an outstanding balance ($200) and buy dog food ($59.99). I’m mentally exhausted from worrying about this; I’m truly desperate given the situation 💔😞. paypal.me/ayudemosapluto2020

Food has arrived ❤️‍🩹🙏🏻 Only God knows what this means to me and to the pack. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and share our posts. We have enough dry food to last until Wednesday. What we urgently need—from the bottom of our hearts—is to pay the guys who work for us; they have kept showing up, even though their pay is overdue. ($200 for both of them)

Do you know Cocos story? A stray dog found paralyzed, traveled few hours from another city on mountains, I thought we need a chair for her. But it turned out....treatable tetnus. And she could stand on her all four paws. ❤️ Follow her journey 👇 #amarasrescueCoco

Please retweet to help Little Boy, Kita, Saskia, Konan, Chinook and Odin, the six Husky x Malamute pups who have arrived safely into foster care #LEICESTER #UK 25 OCT 2026 💔💔💔💔💔💔 These beautiful pups have come from awful conditions. They have never been out on walks, have lived in their own faeces and have had little to no socialisation with people or other dogs. When we collected them, most were completely shut down. They froze when taken outside on a lead, and it was heartbreaking to see. They now have a chance to learn what it means to feel safe, loved and cared for. All six are severely underweight, with a body condition score of just 1. They have a long road ahead, but we are determined to give them the happy, healthy lives they deserve. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! We have already spent over £800 on their initial vaccinations and microchipping. They still need further vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, neutering, veterinary care and ongoing rehabilitation. With six pups to care for, the costs will quickly add up. Please help us give these pups the fresh start they deserve. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you cannot donate, please share! SHE DIED WAITING Heather Earley, mother of three, has died waiting for her money. @PostOffice kept her waiting so long she ran out of time. Impressive logistics. Lawyer @SimonMGoldberg (well worth to give him a follow) shared the sad news today. Heather Earley was one of 555 postmasters who took the Post Office to the High Court and won, and she died before getting her redress, the money owed to put her life back together. He points to a @BBCNews article from 2024 on victims who died before getting redress. Winning in court and never seeing the money is a rare talent. Heather Earley was a mother of three who ran a local shop with a Post Office counter in Mossley, Newtownabbey, in Northern Ireland. In December 2013 the Horizon computer system said she was £10,000 short. A computer said so, and in the Post Office computers are never wrong.. She says one customer kept using a flaw in the system. Every time that customer withdrew £100, the system added £100 to the balance instead of taking it off. I wish my bank worked like that. Heather Earley called the police, and the customer was prosecuted and convicted. That put the blame on the customer, and the Post Office still demanded the £10,000 from her, took money from her wages and refused to give it back even after the conviction. Crime solved, victim billed ... She borrowed from family and maxed out three credit cards just to buy stock for the shop. She cashed in £50,000 of her pension to save the house and clear her debts. Her village lost its post office and its shop, a truly generous service to the community. In 2019 the Post Office settled the group case for £57.75M. Around £46M went on legal and funding costs, which left roughly £20,000 for each of the 555 people. The judge, Mr Justice Peter Fraser, had said the Post Office at times acted as though it answered only to itself, and it seems to have taken that as a challenge. Reports say at least 350 Horizon victims have died before their final payouts, so at this pace the scheme will finish the moment nobody is left to be paid. Heather Earley wanted justice and enough money to rebuild what was left of her life. Simon Goldberg says the lawyers and other parties who held up and nickel and dimed her redress should feel nothing but shame, though shame does not appear to be billable. Stop fighting these people and pay them before it is too late. Heather Earley never got her cheque. RIP Heather

Yesterday, two Quantock Staghound hunters were up in court over the killing of this stag, with one of them facing a further charge. This happened in Rachel Gilmour MP’s constituency of Tiverton & Minehead. Gilmour recently wrote in defence of trail hunting in Hounds magazine, describing it as “forming part of a long and richly woven rural social fabric that binds farms, villages and families together through shared work, ritual, and memories” What a load of romanticised guff. 🙄💩 Dressing up the sort of barbarism witnessed here, and more recently at the Quorn Hunt on Friday, in flowery language about rural traditions doesn’t make it less barbaric. This is cruelty, not culture and she should be ashamed. Rural communities overwhelmingly reject this barbarism in line with the rest of the country. Join AAS Action Against Staghunting on Saturday for a peaceful march: 11am, Saturday 24 October, Tiverton bus station. Phoenix Lane, Tiverton EX16 6LU.
