Excellent tips by Thala for our fitness and health Wishing every citizen listens to this! 💪 Thank you Dr @hyderabaddoctor for sharing this valuable piece! #HealthyHyderabad
Excellent tips by M S Dhoni regarding how to maintain a healthy lifestyle MS Dhoni’s message goes beyond cricket! In an era of fast food, screens and sedentary lifestyles: ✅ Make physical activity a daily habit. ✅ Encourage children to play sports. ✅ Build healthy habits early. ✅ Teach children to accept failure and bounce back. ✅ Treat fitness as an investment in lifelong health. Sports build not just stronger bodies, but resilience, discipline and character. Let children play, not just study! (Video: Amit Gargasya)

#Bicycle solutions are the most simple, sustainable, cost effective and impactful Something to be noted and to be adopted by #RWAs in our city and also to be scaled up by @CMC_Offcl @MC_Cyberabad as much as possible across the city. #TackleElNino @GummallaSrijana

Proofs all across the world! When you build it, they come and use it!! Given the scenarios of layoffs, geopolitical, wars, inflation, increasing prices of all goods and services, health to be prioritised, there are more chances of people walking, cycling and using public transportation. Probable behaviour change expected , given right infrastructure provisions from govt. Opportunity for #ActiveMobility and #PublicMobility Let us invest on it, pls!

Great news for our city #Hyderabad, a long pending one!! #PublicTransportation #PublicMobility 💪👏👏
Finally, some good news on Hyderabad Metro! 🚇 60 new coaches are being procured for the existing Hyderabad Metro network. DMRC, which is handling the procurement, has invited tenders for bidding. This was long overdue. Hyderabad Metro has been running over capacity for more than three years, with overcrowding a major concern for daily commuters. Hope the procurement and deployment happen in a year or so giving commuters some much-needed relief. metrorailnews.in/dmrc-hydera…

🌺 A fantastic compilation of who is really shaping #Hyderabad Skyline! Very impressive information and analysis work as a Real Estate Advisory 👏👏Always love your work!! Welcome move on Real estate infrastructure in our city!! In other hand, we have a huge problem at hand. While the city grows vertically, we need #Liveability infrastructure in place in parallel. #Government intentions, investments and infrastructure has to focus heavily on #WaterAvailability #PublicTransportation #Pollution #TrafficCongestion #Walkability Already, other cities had shown example cases of the problems! Time for us to act, while we witness the #HyderabadGrowthStory in a wholesome way!! @TelanganaCMO
🚨 Who’s Shaping Hyderabad’s New Skyline? Meet the Indian and Global Architects Behind It Hyderabad is inching towards the 400-skyscraper mark, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing skyscraper cities. But honestly, most of our towers look pretty much the same. With land prices going through the roof, developers are focused on maximising every square foot and keeping apartment prices competitive. Design often takes a back seat. Yet, some developers are trying to do things differently with better designs and unique towers. Here are some global and Indian architecture firms shaping Hyderabad’s changing skyline. 🌍 International: Residential • AEDAS, Hongkong & Simon NAF : SAS Crown, Diamond (R-One) Towers • UHA , London: Cascades Neopolis • Chapman Taylor, London : Auro Pearl • DP Architects, Singapore : Grava Residences, My Home 99 • Nikken Sikkei, Japan : Auro Pearl Commercial • AEDAS & Simon NAF: SAS iTower • Simon NAF/Enzyme APD: One Downtown Kokapet • DP Architects: RMZ Nexity, RMZ Spire, Skyview, Grava Business Park Earlier landmarks • AEDAS: Lodha Bellezza (2014) • SOM: The Park Hyderabad (2010) , same Architects who designed Burj Khalifa 🇮🇳 INDIAN • Designhaaus: Navanami Megaleio • Bentel Associates: Brigade Gateway Towers, Neopolis • Team01: Rise With 9, Trilight • NA Architects: Eka One, DSR The Twins • CnT Architects: MyScape Yoo • Hafeez Contractor: Trump Towers Hyderabad Hyderabad is growing fast and building taller. Now, it’s time to build towers that look different and give the city its own identity, not just focus on height and flat sizes. 📸: 1. Brigade Gateway 2. Cascades Neopolis 3. SAS Crown 4. Rise With 9

𝐇𝐘𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐀 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝’𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 ₹ 𝟑𝟓 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) is carrying out restoration work at Kapra Lake, aiming to revive the waterbody as a habitat for migratory birds and protect its biodiversity. Nearly 60% of the work has been completed. Farmers who own land within the lake’s boundaries have voluntarily offered 70 acres in the full tank level (FTL) area for its development. They met the HYDRAA commissioner and submitted a letter of consent, according to the HYDRAA. The lake, which once supported local communities and attracted birds, is among 14 waterbodies being developed by HYDRAA in the second phase of its lake restoration programme. The project covers a lake with an FTL area of 112.80 acres and involves an expenditure of about ₹ 35 crore. Local residents have been visiting the site to see the progress of the work. Kapra Lake supports migratory birds and biodiversity The Centre has recognised Kapra Lake as a wetland of importance to the city’s ecological balance, according to the source text. The lake provides a habitat for more than 470 migratory bird species arriving from Australia, Europe and other parts of the world. Besides storing water, the wetland supports birds, aquatic animals and vegetation. HYDRAA is therefore giving priority to protecting the lake’s natural environment and biodiversity alongside its development. The project aims to preserve the waterbody for future generations, rather than focus solely on beautification. Restoration work prioritises flood control and ecological protection HYDRAA is undertaking desilting to improve the lake’s capacity to hold water and help naturally filter pollutants and waste. The work is also intended to support groundwater recharge, reduce flooding during heavy rains and protect habitats for fish, birds, amphibians and other aquatic life. The agency is increasing the lake’s depth to store more rainwater. It is also improving the inlet and outlet systems and building a walking track around the waterbody. A strong fence is being installed around the lake to protect its boundaries and prevent future encroachments. The project aims to combine lake conservation, improved rainwater flow and public access. Once the work is complete, the lake is expected to provide a space for morning walkers, families and local residents while retaining its ecological functions. #HYDRAA #Telangana #Kapralake

People think that some localities like Srinagar Colony and Sagar Society are upscale and have great roads and beautiful surroundings. But when you visit them, this belief is shattered. When will the taxes being paid by citizens yield better results @GHMCOnline @CommissionrGHMC

At Warrior Moms, we believe our children deserve clean air, safe streets and a liveable future, not endless flyovers and road widening projects. We welcome Hyderabad’s moms as @nuts2406 & citizens coming together to rethink urban mobility and demand people centric solutions that prioritise public transport, walking, cycling and clean air over car centric infrastructure. Cities must be built for people, not just vehicles.

Traffic Mobility | JNTU–Miyapur–Raidurg Corridor A meeting on traffic mobility and last-mile connectivity along the JNTU–Miyapur–Raidurg Metro corridor was held at the CMC Head Office and chaired by Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan. The Commissioner, CMC, MD, RTC, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Cyberabad, Zonal Commissioners of Cyberabad, Department Heads and other concerned officials participated. The meeting reviewed a proposed Traffic Mobility & Last-Mile Connectivity Study, covering: 🔹 Continuous footpath connectivity along the approximately 8.5 km corridor, including missing links, crossings, encroachments and unsafe pedestrian sections. 🔹 Auto-rickshaw and feeder connectivity, including designated pick-up/drop-off bays and feeder auto stands at metro stations and major junctions. 🔹 Police & traffic management, including congestion points, accident-prone locations, pedestrian crossings, signage, barricading and traffic regulation. 🔹 School transport and peak-hour mobility, including school bus/van movement and parent vehicle congestion. 🔹 School-child car-pooling and designated pick-up/drop-off zones away from the main carriageway. 🔹 Metro feeder and last-mile network, integrating walking, cycling, feeder autos/e-autos, schools, offices, residential areas and commercial establishments. The study will look at the corridor end-to-end—from metro stations to the last mile—to identify practical mobility improvements for commuters, pedestrians and students. #CMC #Cyberabad #TrafficMobility #LastMileConnectivity #JNTU #Miyapur #Raidurg #UrbanMobility @jayesh_ranjan @TelanganaCS @TelanganaCMO @IPRTelangana @MC_Cyberabad @ZC_SLP @ZC_Kukatpally1 @zcquthbullapur @GummallaSrijana @CYBTRAFFIC @CPCyberabad @TGSRTCHQ
