When students have access to the classrooms they need, they thrive!
This week I joined Minister @demetriosnAB to announce that Budget 2025 funds 14 new school projects in Edmonton and surrounding communities, creating 16,000 new and updated student spaces.
🏗️ 36 school projects are already underway in Edmonton & area
🏫 41 new projects across the province = 38,500 new & renovated spaces
📢132 active school projects across Alberta
We’re working hard to turn permits into progress and get students into well-built schools ASAP!

My friend told me his dad is voting for Trump because all he knows about Tim Walz is what he hears on Fox News. Offline dads don't see the clips that go viral in our social silos, so drop the good ones in the family group chat.

14,000 Canadians 🇨🇦 and 7,000 Brits 🇬🇧 took part in the Allied Landing in Normandy, which would lead them on the paths of Victory in Europe.
🌺 History will remember June 6, 1944 as D-Day.

It’s called a “public school” not a home school. You teach your values at home and public schools teach the values of what it means to be a respectful and responsible citizen & this includes learning about 2SLGBTQ+ communities, just like all other communities in Canada. #cdnpoli
The residential school system was intended to remove children from the influence of their homes, families, traditions and cultures.
The ideology of gender identity and sex education that is rooted from LGBTQ ideology in Ontario should be a choice. This should not be an obligation on all children with NO opt out option.
Many Families are extremely worried they see it as danger on their children. They find it as pushing many children away from their own identity traditions, culture, and consequently removing them away from their families. Which is not acceptable and will result in a huge psychological damage and mental health problems on children and their families.
Let’s learn the lesson and insure that Canada will NO longer remove any child from their roots Stop 🛑 messing up with our children..

Everyone needs to see themselves included in their schools & curriculum.
Congratulations to all the teachers and administrators involved in making this much-needed course available. Hopefully, it will provide a model for other school districts across Alberta to follow. #abed

St. Albert School Board has unanimously approved a new optional locally developed junior high course on 2SLGBTQIA+ perspectives.
This may well be the very first 2SLGBTQIA+ course developed and offered in Alberta's history. A truly ground-breaking moment! 🤩#abed

Help build up your child’s self-esteem. Value their contributions and achievements. If they’re socially isolated at school, get them involved in community activities they enjoy. One aspect of their life doesn’t define their whole being.
