Knowing that Shakman consulted the Kirby family on Ben being a Dodgers fan, I think it's very sweet that made it into an Avengers movie
‘THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS’ director Matt Shakman confirmed with Jack Kirby’s son that The Thing would be a Brooklyn Dodgers fan.
“In my [universe], the Dodgers don’t go to LA ... in the comics ... they made him a Yankees fan — and it didn’t sit right with me.”

Marvel might have hidden the smartest detail in the new Avengers: Doomsday teaser on Reed Richards' head. 👀
He's wearing a Brooklyn Dodgers cap at Ebbets Field. The real Dodgers moved to Los Angeles in 1958.
Remember how a Dodgers radio broadcast helped Steve Rogers realize something was wrong when he woke up in The First Avenger?
Now that same baseball team could be telling us Reed's universe followed a completely different history.
That's a clever little multiverse detail.

New descriptions for Captain America and The Falcon in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’:

“Joaquin Torres is back in action and ready to take off alongside Captain America’s Avengers.”
