I cannot stress enough to any 18-22 year olds following me that it is extremely normal and fairly okay to feel like you’re “not an actual adult” for at least a few more years. you are so young. you have so much time. your brain will not be torturing you the way it is now forever.

A lot of systems will introject characters like Jax, Homura, etc. as a vessel for conceptualizing their pain, but it doesn't help move forward. Maybe instead they should introject someone really smart, like a scientist gorilla from the moon with a leap to exit abusive situations
