If you think your data is safe on the internet right now, read what happened in just the last 48 hours:
1. iPhone 11 to 16: Leaked Cellebrite tool can wirelessly unlock iPhones from 8 meters away via Bluetooth
2. eMudhra: Indian CA's root keys cracked in milliseconds because the secret keys were single numbers like '4' & '56'
3. PHP ('PHP2Shell'): Critical flaw lets hackers hijack web servers without logging in (EU gov sites went offline)
4. LiteLLM: Popular AI library poisoned on PyPI quietly stealing AWS, cloud & AI keys on startup
5. PingCAP/TiDB Cloud: Breached by extortionists claiming 10.6 TB of stolen data, SQL history & API keys
6. SBI & Rajasthan Gov: Lakhs of bank records and citizen KYC data dumped on the dark web
Check on your cybersecurity friends today:
90% of developers get this basic Python check wrong on the first read:
a = round(2.5)
b = round(3.5)
print(a == 3)
print(b == 4)
Do both lines print ā Trueā ?

Microsoft's math right now is wild:
1. Forecasting $175,000,000,000 in CapEx for AI chips and data centers.
2. Simultaneously offering "voluntary exit" buyouts to 60,000 employees across India, the US, UK, and Canada to cut costs.
AI isn't even taking the jobs yet. The bill for AI infrastructure is taking the jobs.

How to actually make AI agents reliable in production š:
1. Stop giving 1 agent 20 tools. Use a router and scope it to 2ā3 tools max.
2. Validate every single output with Pydantic before passing it to the next step.
3. Use MCP to standardize how your backend talks to tools instead of writing messy glue code.
4. Keep the context window as small and clean as possible.
5. If an ā if/elseā block can do the job, don't use an LLM call.

first the Pentagon preps military bases for 90 days off grid, now India and the G7 are openly talking about defending banking rails from cyber warfare. the next major conflict won't start with missiles it'll start with an infrastructure blackout.
šØ WE COULD BE ENTERING THE ERA OF DIGITAL AND BANKING LOCKDOWNS
Two Warnings Just Came Today That Should Terrify the World.
š®š³ First, Indian Prime Minister Modi openly warned today that modern wars can destroy nations by targeting their economies and banking systems through cyberattacks.
šÆšµ Meanwhile, Japanās GMO Internet Group CEO reportedly warns of an internet collapse following claims of a massive cyberattack involving fraudulent trades across 70+ brokerage and FX platforms.
Even Japanās @yutokanzakireal had warned weeks ago that theyād Time the Economic Collapse where AI and energy crisis can take the blame.
G7 countries announced that they are now preparing for a major AI cyberattack on the banking system while G7 governments and central banks have agreed to run simulated AI attacks to test how they would respond to a major incident.
Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo detected unauthorized AI agents accessing customer accounts and attempting to act without user instructions.
Scott Bessent openly talked about a āgrand economic reorderingā on the scale of Bretton Woods and how AI and stablecoins will be used to grow out of the $40 Trillion debt.
The internet and the banking system will be shut off for the transition to the new stablecoin economy?
Imagine banks freezing, trading platforms shutting down and internet access being restricted overnight while blockchain is offered as the solution.
A new surveillance system is being opened without naming it CBDCs.
This is why @DNAOnChain is about to be the biggest privacy solution in the new on-chain financial system.
Private digital identities. Zero-knowledge proofs. A financial system where you can prove who you are without exposing who you are.
A future of complete on-chain financial privacy and almost nobody is paying attention.
During the crash, AI and cyberattack will be the excuse in how they restrict peopleās ability to transfer funds to cover their margin calls.
Be prepared for the new financial system. Itās always followed by an engineered crisis.

millions of dollars in safety training defeated by flipping two literal numbers. we are so cooked

X cares about frontier benchmarks. Production cares about latency and token costs. If Terra is the cheap, fast workhorse of the 6.1 family, builders will use it 10x more than Astra anyway.
GPT-6.1 Terra is already showing up in publicly visible backend tests, and OpenAI is preparing for its release.
But honestly, I'm struggling to see the point of launching it right now.
The model hierarchy is Luna, Terra, Sol, and Astra. Terra sits below Sol, so it wouldn't make much sense to expect it to outperform GPT-6.1 Sol.
And with everyone waiting for OpenAI's answer to Opus 5.5, releasing a lower-tier model feels like a strange move.
Maybe Terra has something special to offer, but right now, this isn't the kind of release I've been hoping for.
