Trump will have to veto every abhorrent idea the Dems will put forward to destroy this country. The only question is how many and who on the Republican side will join Dems to override the President's vetos.
We will name them and remove them just like we did to Thom Tillis, John Cornyn and several others. If not for these clowns, we could have had the Save Act in place over a year ago. With control of the House and the Senate we sould have codified many of the EOs that Trump has put in place but now there is no chance.

Gun controls in Colorado include a red flag law, a concealed carry permit requirement, gun storage laws, a “Glock switch” ban, a bump stock ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, “Ghost gun” regulations, and more.
All of this is unconstitutional and leaves the law-abiding citizen sitting ducks. Criminals do not care about these laws.

"Taxing" enough to cover this would require very large rate increases in individual income tax rates rising from ~14% toward ~40% and corporate rates higher, with large negative GDP effects of ~15% in perpetuity and wage losses in its tax-financing scenario. Market borrowing at this scale would drive interest rates sharply higher (CEA: 10-year yields potentially above 10%, mortgages above 12%).
If the gap is closed primarily by "printing money," inflation would be severe. The CEA report itself models debt financing of the full package and projects "double-digit inflation", with cumulative excess price-level increases of roughly 13%–16% percentage points per year over the next decade.
The White House CEA report (and related Center for Health and Economy / AAF modeling of similar plans) projects a 22% decline in medical productivity by 2036 and a 29% reduction in provider access for the previously insured population overall. Former employer-sponsored enrollees see an even larger modeled drop of ~44%.

I am SO thankful Florida held the line. We avoided some of the MOST horrendous US House wipeouts (still losing some) and our statewide remained red. The legislature is still red

I bet I know something that you don't know and it's something Trump knew that we all didn't know. The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency that lead the Iran nuclear inspections team went on TV and said that Iran was lying about its program even before the Obama administration. It intended then and still today to develop a nuclear weapon. It was the right thing for Trump and Israel to remove the threat.
Trump has been restructuring the global oil supply to mitigate the cost by getting Venezuela online, having Saudi Arabia and the UAE to reroute oil through pipelines and around the Strait of Horuz. And don't forget "Drill Baby Drill" in the US. He is also opening up Alaska with the new pipeline.
The point is that Trump is securing our future and sovereignty.
Our part was to pay a little more for gas for a short period of time and we couldn't even bear that small amount of responsibility. We have become a nation full of weak-minded people.
Florida Republicans had pursued mid-decade redistricting targeting four previously Democratic-held districts (notably the 9th, 14th, 22nd, and 25th) to make them more favorable to the GOP.
Democrats held ALL of those seats (Kathy Castor, Pia Dandiya, Jared Moskowitz, and Darren Soto leading or winning, with Soto’s race the closest).

I continue to believe the nose ring presses some kind of nerve that affects the cognitive part of the brain.
I really think they need to do a study on nose rings pressing on certain nerve centers that make you unable to have a coherent conversation.

Lie #1: Hoffman's first trial ended in a June 2025 mistrial (jury deadlocked 7–5 for guilty).
Lie #2: Hoffman was required to register as a sex offender in Nebraska, where he moved to plus resignation of his Texas law license.
It was a plea deal because they didn't think they could get a second successful trial that would produce a guilty verdict.
