It still amazes me that Americans don’t just order these from Sweden. Cheaper, better, it’s a no brainer.

Some real bullshit from @Delta today. We had a 9:30am flight from MN to Vancouver, BC. Ended up landed in North Dakota after an electrical fire… (see below). We’ve now been here for four hours with no indication of how they’re going to address it. Flight attendants left. Pilots left. No @Delta employees at the airport and no clarity around when we’re getting out it here. Truly abysmal customer service.

As mentioned this morning, best of the best. @Halsrethink @DrPippaM
No one better to follow for geopolitical analysis than @DrPippaM and @Halsrethink.

“we believe that the probability distribution depicting the impact of various discrete geopolitical events on the price of a barrel of oil is right-skewed and fat-tailed… To be clear, the probabilistic distribution related to oil market implications differs markedly across these [potential geopolitical developments], but the general shape of each distribution is consistent: rightward-skewed, with fat tails.”

With the '24 US Pres election getting closer, Qs about the Inflation Reduction Act's durability will undoubtedly increase. I'm confident the IRA is durable, in part because of the chart below (@RockyMtnInst). IRA benefits--both $'s and jobs--will overwhelmingly favor R states.
