I think my favorite title of Jesus Christ is found in Genesis 22:14, after God tested Abraham with sacrificing Isaac:
"And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen."
In Hebrew, Jehovah-jireh is translated to "The Lord will provide", or "The Lord will see."
Do we trust that Jesus will provide for us? Do we depend on his sight to guide us in all things?
Is the Lord "Jehovah-jireh" in our lives?
Went to the temple this morning!
The endowment session was so full, that we got to sit next to each other. It was special!
Also, isn't she beautiful?!❤️
"I believe in the sun
even when it is not shining
And I believe in love,
even when there’s no one there.
And I believe in God,
even when He is silent.
I believe through any trial,
there is always a way
But sometimes in this suffering
and hopeless despair
My heart cries for shelter,
to know someone’s there
But a voice rises within me, saying hold on
my child, I’ll give you strength,
I’ll give you hope. Just stay a little while.
I believe in the sun
even when it is not shining
And I believe in love
even when there’s no one there
But I believe in God
even when he is silent
I believe through any trial
there is always a way.
May there someday be sunshine
May there someday be happiness
May there someday be love
May there someday be peace…."

Uhhhhhh is anyone else getting this with the new hymn addition? Pretty sure that's not Be Thou My Vision😅 @Ch_JesusChrist
Yesterday, I had a hard day. I was anxious that I wasn't doing well at my job, that I wasn't the perfect husband, etc.
I'm in a choir, and at rehearsal last night we sung "Testimony". The beginning of the Chorus goes like this:
"I am a living, breathing, walking testimony..."
While singing the Lord gave me a reassurance that I'm doing a good job. I teared up during rehearsal from His love!
God doesn't need you to be perfect or He'll turn away. All He wants is for you to go to Him every day, and He'll help you become better, line upon line.
If we turn to Him, He will *always* turn to us!
Unpacking our books in our new place, and I see we have multiple copies of the same books, bought before we were married.
I definitely picked the right girl to marry😅❤️ @bomunhinged
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing.
It's so important that we listen to people who are learning these concepts for the first time, because at least for me I've lived my entire life of the Latter-day Saint paradigm of a loving Heavenly Father, and so it can be easy to take it for granted and be numbed by the phrase. But hearing it from someone who is just gaining a testimony of this brings a reverence, and a reminder of the powerful truth that it is. He is our Eternal Father, and He loves us oh so much!
Thank you for the reminder Victoria!
"Heavenly Father, are you really there?"
Whenever I've been asked to lead a prayer, I always refuse. I'll be honest… I don't know how to pray to Heavenly Father.
Growing up as a Catholic, we referred to him as “God the Father,” and we didn't really pray to him as much as we were taught to pray to Jesus and Mary. God the Father was more of a figure of judgment: someone you don't want to disappoint, someone who has mercy on you.
But mercy is different than love.
Something one of the missionaries told me during my conversion was so simple, yet it hit me so deeply. She said, "Heavenly Father loves you." It hit me like a ton of bricks because I was never taught that growing up.
The most famous Jesus prayer of all time is, "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner." You're supposed to say it over and over and over.
To know that I have a Heavenly Father, that He is aware of me, and that He wants to bless me is so unfathomable. I'm still trying hard to wrap my mind around it. I still fear talking to Him and going to Him. I feel so unworthy.
Lord Jesus Christ, help me learn to accept our Father's love! 🤍
So interesting that the Church's official account is being more active and engaging! Different but should do a lot of good!

We'd love to have you come back for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration! It runs April through October 2027. You can reserve free tickets here: ticketing.churchofjesuschris…
I just finished listening to the Book Mormon audiobook today!
This was probably the coolest way I have experienced the BoM in quite a while. Every character has a different voice actor, and it was so nice to differentiate who was speaking, even mid verse.
I felt the Spirit testify to me that the closer we get to the second coming, the more relevant the words that are written will become. We will look back and realize that what has happened has been written in this book all along.

I personally believe that Judas *knew*, at one point anyway, that Jesus is the Christ, but let his pride get in the way.
If there's one thing I know about pride, is it blinds reason, and it can allow you to do things that you know aren't correct, or don't make sense according to your beliefs/knowledge.
I have had people ponder how Judas could turn on Jesus. After all, Judas saw Jesus resurrecting the dead and transmuting matter. Shouldn't Judas at least assume that Jesus is a wizard even if you don't buy into the God idea?
But what people don't get is how crazy 30 AD Judea was. They were nearly as lunatic as we are today. They had cancel culture. They focused on nit-picks and refused to see the big picture. Like people who rant about climate change but hate Teslas. (You don't have to like Musk to see that Teslas is good for lowering carbon.) Pharisees got angry and ranted at Jesus because he miraculously healed people on the Sabbath. That's a pretty blinkered take.
I assume that Judas got inured to seeing miracles constantly, and started thinking they were common. Instead of miraculous.
After all, when's the last time you gaped in amazement at what your phone is currently capable of?
Holy dang, I've been on this long? I remember as a teenager I would use this platform to just be silly. Now look where I'm at!

Brothers and Sisters, I KNOW that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and He lives! He is my friend, and I know Him. I owe everything that I am to Him.
He has taken a lump of clay, and turned it into the man I am today.
