Israel when the shape charge they designed to imitate a bullet wound doesn't look like a bullet wound, and the bullet fragments they planted don't look like a bullet from the gun they planted, and the gun they planted doesn't have good samples of DNA from their patsy, and their patsy doesn't look like the guy on camera, and the footage they edit to make the guy on camera look like their patsy is found to be edited, and their patsy is identified at a restaurant hundreds of miles away from where they need him to be for their story:
A ton of 2026 Democrats are running against 2018-2022 Democrats. The thing is: they're running against themselves
>Have hobby
>Find someone else with similar hobby
>They actually know nothing about the hobby and you cannot talk to and bond with them over the hobby
>Hobby is increasingly full of these types of people
"Wow, you just like other people being unable to participate in your hobby"
i've seen a lot of posts like this lately, where people bemoan the death of their hobbies, and it seems to boil down to one exact thing: they derive joy not from being able to do something themselves, but from others being unable to do it. if a random stranger failing to answer your quiz is enough to ruin your enjoyment of the hobby or the community, maybe you don't love it as much as you think you do.
Maybe the book is radically different, but Les Misérables the show treats Valjean stealing a loaf of bread to feed himself and his family as a crime and a personal failing. He's in prison for 19 years and when he stops stealing he becomes a successful businessman and a mayor
If someone remade Starship Troopers exactly the same except making the humans bugs and the bugs humans, these people would still support the bugs because they don't care about the story or its stakes; they just hate humanity
Is it time again for the quarterly Starship Troopers discourse?

I think pointing out that in an attempt to reinvent the wheel you completely lost every single thing that was appealing beforehand in exchange for fairly middling upsides is fair idk

America has a gun
With (very few) apologies to Brian Bilston
England is CCTV.
France, a cop with lock and key.
Greece, once free, now bends the knee.
But, America has a gun.
Sweden jails the ones who fight.
Germany fines bad words at night.
Spain forbids the wrong to write.
But, America has a gun.
Holland fines what words you say.
Canada takes your knives away.
Australia says, "you must Obey."
While America has a gun.
Japan will bow and not resist.
Scotland bans what they won’t miss.
Freedom bleeds, but still exists
Because America has a gun.
Better risk the fatal cost
Than find that liberty was lost.
The price is high,
The fight, embossed
Because America has a gun.

"Guys, the game has a fully movable camera now. A bright, purple spotlight is necessary in case players aren't looking down. Debris or dust falling from the ceiling? Do you know what 'fully movable camera' means? I don't, but I'm sure it means that anything other than a blinding purple beacon is totally invisible in a dark room"
Shadow cast without a corresponding light source? Silly. Nonsense.
Giant fucking pillar of purple light appearing out of nowhere and tracking you? Now the enemy makes perfect sense.
[term democrats made up to smear republicans]
[term democrats made up to smear republicans with progressively fewer letters]
[the ironic implication playing off a term democrats made up to smear republicans that it's the republicans who are swindling you]
The internet has ruined me for trailed-off f-words
rewatching hannah montana and just realized Rico is a trumpy??? 🤮
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This clip is from Hannah Montana S3E6 (aired Jan 11, 2009). Rico references Trump as a businessman/Apprentice host known for "You're fired," years before his 2015 political run or MAGA.

Nintendo's biggest mistake with game key cards was to be transparent with its costumers about what they were. Tons of Xbox and PlayStation discs serve only as a license telling the system to download the game from the store and yet Microsoft and Sony got no backlash to this
