They have also said the feedback from the Safety Car and Medical Car is not positive, with conditions worsening since they last circulated.

An update from Race Control "Marshals currently working at various corners around the track to clear any standing water. "The current low level intensity of rain is expected to continue for the foreseeable future."

That is the message from Race Control, but the radars are sowing more rain on the way.

So, the Medical Car has been for its lap of the track and is parked back up - we will await any news from Race Control. The track is wet, of that there is no doubt, but most of the standing water looks to be on the grass and run off areas.

Conditions are cool, so nothing will dry up per se, but the rivers will become less of a factor if this rain continues to lesson. Visibility will remain an issue for awhile though.

Following today’s FP3 session, the power unit fitted to car #44 was removed for further checks. After completing our analysis, we have decided to replace the entire power unit. Lewis will take part in qualifying but will have to start tomorrow’s race from the back of the grid.
