My wife never ceases to amaze me (she's beautiful soul too). This is also to every loving father out there. Tonight, I got home completely exhausted. My body was aching, my eyes were heavy, and I barely had the energy to take off my shoes. I was hoping to hear my kids voices but they were already asleep, so my wife came to open the door. She looked at me for a moment and noticed immediately. "Honey, you look exhausted. You've been pushing yourself so hard lately. I know you're doing all this for me and the children, and I want you to know I appreciate you." I smiled, dropped my bag, and pulled her close. She helped me settle down, brought me water, and sat beside me. After a few minutes, she said, "Can I ask you something? What actually keeps you going? Is it me, the children, or the responsibility of providing for this family?".....

I welcomed a baby earlier this year, and because I’m on a high-deductible ACA insurance plan, I ended up owing just over $10,000 for the C-section and hospital stay. When I looked through the bill, I noticed a small note directing patients to the hospital’s financial assistance website. Out of curiosity, I decided to check it out. The website had an income chart based on household size, and I discovered that a family of my size could qualify for 100% forgiveness of their medical bills if their household income was below $104,000. According to the guidelines, applications would be reviewed using the patient’s most recent tax return along with their pay stubs from the previous three months.

Then, a few days ago, everything changed. My wife got into a heated argument with her sister at our house. During the fight, her sister suddenly shouted: “At least I don’t secretly take birth control behind my husband’s back while pretending I’m infertile! DOES HE KNOW YOU HAD AN ABORTION?” I was completely speechless. My wife kicked her sister out and broke down crying. She admitted that she never wanted another child but was afraid I’d leave her if she told me the truth. The abortion happened about a year and a half after our wedding. My wife had been taking birth control without my knowledge while allowing me to believe we couldn’t conceive. She watched me struggle with the possibility of never becoming a biological father. She saw how devastated I was, yet she never told me the truth. I want to make one thing clear: I’m pro-choice, and I believe women have every right to make decisions about their own bodies. This isn’t about controlling my wife’s body or taking away her right to choose. It’s about the fact that she lied to me about something that would determine our future together. She could have been honest about not wanting more children, and I could have decided whether I was willing to remain in a marriage where having biological children wasn’t an option. Instead, she let me believe we had a fertility problem when she knew she didn’t want another baby. I can’t help thinking about the child I might have had if we’d been honest with each other. I was so hurt that I left and went to stay with my parents. Now, my wife is begging me to come home. She says she’s willing to try for a baby, and even her daughter has messaged me asking me to return. My parents think I should forgive her because she made a mistake and has apologized. But I don’t know how I’m supposed to trust someone who watched me suffer over something she was deliberately hiding from me. Am I wrong for wanting a divorce over this lie?

She lied about her fertility! I have been with my wife for 8 years, and we’ve been married for 4. She has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Her biological father left when she was a newborn, and we’ve never known where he went. I’ve raised her as my own, and she calls me Dad. We have a wonderful relationship. From the beginning, I told my wife I wanted biological children of my own. She said she was open to having more kids, so after we got married, we bought a house and started trying for a baby. After a year without success, we both underwent fertility tests, but everything came back normal. My wife then said IVF was too expensive and physically demanding. I was devastated, but I eventually accepted that I might never have biological children.

a man discovered that his wife had been telling her family he was financially irresponsible, when he had been secretly paying off the debt she brought into their marriage. when they got married, she told him she had a few outstanding loans from a business that failed. he offered to help her clear them, but she asked him not to tell anyone because she was embarrassed. he agreed. for three years, he worked extra shifts and put aside money every month to settle the debts. whenever her family asked why they weren't travelling or buying a bigger house, she would laugh and say her husband wasn't good with money. he never corrected her. he thought protecting her dignity was more important than explaining their finances to people. then, at a family gathering, her older brother pulled him aside and advised him to stop making his sister suffer. he said she had complained that her husband controlled all the money and refused to let her enjoy life. the man was stunned. that evening, he asked his wife why she had told her family those things. she became defensive and said she didn't want them to know about her old debts. he asked, “so it was easier to make me look like a bad husband than to tell them the truth?” she had nothing to say. he didn't expose her to the family or demand that she confess. but he stopped making financial sacrifices in silence. from then on, they would discuss their finances together, and neither of them would be expected to carry the other's shame alone. what hurt him most wasn't the money he'd spent. it was realising that he'd protected her from embarrassment for years, while she had protected herself by letting the people she loved misunderstand him.

This generation will make you feel like kindness is a weakness. You help someone, they call you a fool. You forgive someone, they say you don’t have sense. You give people another chance, they tell you you’re too soft. You genuinely care about people, and somehow you’re the one being mocked. Please don’t let people’s inability to appreciate kindness turn you into a wicked person. Have boundaries. Protect yourself. Learn to say no. But don’t lose your heart because somebody abused it. Kindness is still kindness, even when the world doesn’t clap for it.

I got pregnant by my husband's father, then convinced my husband the baby was his. But when the child was born, my mother-in-law took one look at him and demanded a DNA test. I married Ethan when I was 24. His family welcomed me, but his father, Richard, always treated me differently. He paid our bills when Ethan lost his job, helped us move into a better house, and defended me whenever his wife criticized me. I told myself he was simply being kind. Then Ethan started spending most nights away from home, leaving me alone with a man who seemed to understand my loneliness better than my own husband. One evening, Richard admitted that his marriage was unhappy. I should have walked away. Instead, I let his sympathy become something neither of us could explain away. When I discovered I was pregnant, I knew exactly who the father was. And I made a decision that would eventually destroy both families

My Wife Told Me to Divorce Her If I Want a Intimacy My wife and I have been going through a rough patch for a while now, and honestly, this is far from the first time we've had serious problems. We've been married for four years, and we have a four-month-old son together. A while ago, my wife went through a pretty severe episode of postpartum depression. Things got bad enough that she needed medication for anxiety and depression. There's a lot more to the story, but I'm not comfortable getting into all of it. Thankfully, she's safe, and things have been improving. I was actually hopeful that getting her the help she needed would bring some stability into our lives and give us a chance to work on the other problems in our marriage. I know she's been struggling, and I've been trying to be understanding through it all. But something she told me this morning has really messed with my head.
