A chartered Bombardier Learjet 60 carrying nine people crashed into a mobile home park near West Palm Beach, Florida, today, November 1, 2026, causing a massive fire and resulting in multiple fatalities.
•The Route: The 22-year-old twin-engine jet departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas and was en route to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.
•The Crash: At approximately 12:50 p.m. local time, while at cruise altitude, the aircraft took a sharp right turn and entered a rapid nosedive. Flight-tracking data indicates it descended at a rate of roughly 350 feet per second (over 30,000 feet per minute) before impact.
•The Impact: The aircraft clipped a tree and downed power lines before slamming into the ground in the Greenacres district/Cresthaven area. The impact demolished at least one trailer home and left an enormous crater
