Now hear me out… imagine if Luke and Mark immediately began working on D3, before the launch of Final Shape, and took a bunch of those “laid off” devs with them… I have my guess which studio it is. Potentially, D3 could be a whole lot sooner than we think.
1. Something to look forward to within D2
2. Legacy - porting D1 content?
3. A shadow hinting towards D3
This is a good day guys! Our future looks bright!!! 🩵

A Canadian political leader is calling for the government to help BioWare developers buy the studio from EA and run it themselves.
NDP leader Avi Lewis says the developers should get the first shot at taking control, with government support.
“The developers at BioWare know how to run the studio. They know how to make the games we all love.”
He also criticized corporate ownership, arguing that Canada should keep control of major game studios in Canadian hands.
