This is exactly what the American people rejected this week at the ballot box: wanna-be monopolists making illegal threats and throwing their corporate power around to get what they want.
I'm fighting in Congress to break this corrupt power.

Fascinating organizing tactic by the @scott_colom field campaign to stop knocking doors and start organizing workers who weren't being reached through traditional methods
Kinda reminds me of Bernie with the meatpackers in Iowa

βΌοΈArizona Republicans BLAME Turning Point For Midterm Disaster And DEMAND They Close Their Doors. π
The Arizona Republican Party is now openly blaming Turning Point Action for the midterm losses and calling for the organization to close its doors. Former Arizona GOP Chair Gina Swoboda said Turning Point must take ownership of the results because large numbers of Republicans simply refused to vote.
Nearly every Turning Point-endorsed candidate in Arizona lost, and several of the races were not close. Andy Biggs trailed Katie Hobbs by roughly ten points. The same pattern held in the attorney general and secretary of state races. Both Corporation Commission candidates and the state mine inspector were also behind.
Swoboda described the no-show voters as a protest. She said there was no candidate on the ballot that would bring them out, and she warned donors to stop funding an organization that is destroying the party.
The same results appeared in Nevada and New Hampshire, where Turning Point also invested heavily. Only one of their endorsed candidates is winning across both states. The organization that once claimed major influence in its home state is now being told by the state party to shut down. The midterms delivered the verdict.

Sen. Chris Murphy has been discharged from Johns Hopkins Hospital after suffering a small hemorrhagic stroke and will miss several weeks of Senate votes as he recovers.
βLast Saturday afternoon, I felt something was not right with my body and called 9-1-1 out of an abundance of caution, and Iβm glad I did,β Murphy said. βI was diagnosed with a small bleed in the thalamus region of my brain.β
βThis has been a scary experience for me and my family,β he added.
Murphy will now spend several weeks at a rehabilitation center.
His doctor at Johns Hopkins says Murphy has shown βtremendous progressβ and that βwe expect that he will make a full recovery following rehabilitation.β

Trump has only just begun to face resistance from the American citizenry. We will most definitely endure the next couple of months. After that, what we voted for will deal with him and his clowns appropriately.
I might add, as long as Democrats are intelligent enough to dump Jeffries and Schumer.
Don't wait until January to start demanding what you want from your elected officials.
Call their offices. Get your demand documented. It matters.

For years, my dad battled Parkinsonβs disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, βPop, we won.β
This morning, he passed away.
A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress.
He wonβt be there when Iβm sworn in. But I know heβll be standing right beside me.
Rest easy, Daddy. Iβll take it from here. These next two years are for you β€οΈ

holy shit this is literally just a nonstop revenge election huh
Holy shit, I didn't realize Scott Colom was denied a federal judgeship because Cindy Hyde-Smith blocked his nomination by lying about his connections to George Soros hahahahaha
If she hadn't done that he'd be a district judge and instead he's going to beat her in a Senate race and become the first black Senator from Mississippi since 1870. Nobody has ever been owned this hard by poetic justice
The mills of God grind slowly/yet grind exceeding small

"I donβt want Jared Kushner to be investigated because heβs the presidentβs son-in-law. I donβt want Stephen Miller investigated because heβs a racist ghoul whoβs at the center of the Trump brain trust. I want him investigated because heβs a racist ghoul who has violated the due-process rights of millions of people and, potentially, directly violated court orders. As I wrote in my @nytopinion piece on Feb 1, autocrats never course correct. They double down on their errors. Case in point: making Miller Chief of Staff.

Stephen is going to overreach and further piss off We the People. If the GOP wants even a chance at anything in 2028β¦I would recommend not enabling this, or sitting quietly on the sidelines and letting it happen.

Union Pacific gave Trump millions for his ballroom while seeking his ok to control half the freight rail traffic in America so they could charge everyone more for shipping goods.
So yeah, this guy had better get ready to explain that to Congress, and this. β¬οΈ
