I long for the days when we had a President who pursued excellence. He was beyond competent. He brought this country back from the abyss of the financial crisis. He managed to get Obamacare passed. He wasn't perfect, but he was damn good. And yes, he was fine in that tan suit!

When you step back and take in how hard this regime has fought…and is still fighting…to bury everything Epstein-related, you see just how wicked these elected Republican leaders and their ilk really are.
It's not just the covering of crimes and criminals. It's the horrifying spectacle of people who smile and glad-hand in public while stooping to ugly, life-destroying acts behind the scenes.

Obama: "I'm not making this up -- the president of the United States is spending time supergluing gold medallions to the mantle in the Oval Office. He's literally doing arts and crafts while we are fighting a war and trying to deal with out of control prices."

This Art Deco masterpiece in Toulouse, France, the “Immeuble de La Dépêche,” 1927 by the famous French architect Léon Jaussely.
The building was going to be the newspaper’s headquarters of the time. To reflect this mission, the famous mosaic artists Alphonse Gentil and François Bourdet made this eye-catching female figure that covers the building’s front.
She is wrapped in a dress in shades of blue, and rays of sunlight spread out from around her head.
This mosaic represents “News/the Press and Enlightenment.” On the sun rays and cloud patterns around it, the newspaper’s headlines, topics and news categories of that time are worked in.
So the building is a tribute to its original purpose: the power of the press and of spreading information.

Lisa Demuth is – and has always been – staunchly anti-abortion:
-Wrote a bill to ban abortion in Minnesota with no exceptions for rape or incest.
-Called to overturn the court case that protects the right to an abortion in the Minnesota Constitution.
-Sponsored legislation that would have put doctors in jail.
-Her Super PAC received $15M from anti-abortion billionaire Richard Uihlein.
-Was endorsed by anti-abortion group Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, who spent $60,000 supporting her run for governor.

Minnesota Republicans are running campaign ads linking Somalis to crime, fraud, and violence.
Meanwhile, Minnesota has witnessed some of the most horrific acts of violence in recent memory, including the murder of young children at Annunciation Catholic School and the assassination of former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband.
Both crimes were committed by white individuals.
And Minnesota's biggest fraud scandal, Feeding Our Future, was led by a white woman.
Yet nobody is running campaign ads blaming white Minnesotans for those crimes.
And rightly so.
When politicians turn the crimes of individuals into an indictment of an entire ethnic community, they're revealing far more about themselves than about the people they're attacking.
Keep running those ads. We see exactly what you're doing. And we won't forget it.
Elections come and go. Politicians rise and fall. The political attacks will eventually fade.
But Somalis will still be here. And we will come out of this stronger, more united, more organized, more politically aware, and more determined than ever to stand up for ourselves and shape our own future.
