Honestly the problem at United goes far beyond Carrick. They could bring in whoever they want but nothing will fundamentally change until there’s a complete change of ownership and a new direction at the top. So apparently, Sheikh Mansour has injected £100m into Man City despite all the controversy surrounding the club.
This just shows how confident he is to win this appeal, he knows the Premier League can't do anything to city because of the investments made in the UK worth billions.
A simple advice to the Premier league, Manchester City is bigger than you so be careful when handing out sanctions, don't bite the hand that feeds you. I suggest a £5m fine and a 1yr transfer fan, I believe all football fans agree with me.
