Worth a follow!
The next Lamine Yamal is already playing senior football somewhere. You just can't see him yet. So I built NEXUS. 16,694 under-23s. 84 leagues. 1,244 clubs. One scale. League strength is built in, so a 90 in the Danish Superliga sits on the same line as a 90 in LaLiga. Yamal is a 99: No. 1 of 7,607 scored under-23s. What you can do with it: → Who replaces him? Type a name, get the under-23s closest to his style. Arda Güler: Curt Calov, Mohamed Nassoh, Alvyn Sanches… → Buy low, sell high. The score, the price against what that performance usually costs, and where his value is heading in 24 months. → Squad gaps. Not who is good, but what your squad is missing, position by position. → Every week, the firsts. Senior debuts, first goals, new to 80+. And the part most rankings skip: you can check it. Scores are written down before the outcome. Of the 335 players scored 80+ on 17 Sep, 83% have risen in market value since. For those scored 50–65: 46%. It's preliminary (the first full reading is on 16 Mar 2027), and all of it is public, with every model change logged. Free. Independent. No betting tips. Who's the under-23 you think the market is missing? Drop a name and I'll reply with his NEXUS score.

Today we're introducing TRIBE v2 (Trimodal Brain Encoder), a foundation model trained to predict how the human brain responds to almost any sight or sound. Building on our Algonauts 2025 award-winning architecture, TRIBE v2 draws on 500+ hours of fMRI recordings from 700+ people to create a digital twin of neural activity and enable zero-shot predictions for new subjects, languages, and tasks. My first reaction to learning the details of the Luis Ortiz sports betting scandal/investigation was, "this is microbetting's fault." But after chatting with @tomashd about it, my feelings are more mixed.

Cloud computing is the most successful "you will own nothing and be happy" psyop in history. We gave up on DARPA's beautifully, decentralized design for the internet to become renters for life. Tragic.

Microbetting discussion on @nextio including @joeyslevy of @betr and @tomashd of @kerosports. This is already relevant in in-game or live sports betting and will be very big on potential tax revenue very soon. There are already several players in this because the stakes are so high. (My own little tangent is the on-going latency question. Maybe some items like 'next pitch' are not quite ready yet, but 'will team score on this drive?' and 'who wins hole 17 in this pairing?' absolutely are bettable. Interestingly, virtual sport simulations of baseball games could offer 'next pitch' with no latency easy.) This is a 44-minute show. @nclottery @murphsturph youtu.be/rXxiXm0bimE?si=yllu…

Exactly! DK had the longest on ramp (~3 seasons). They've also made the most advanced efforts around ideal integration and "merchandizing". Hence, they've seen the growth trajectory/consistency longer than others and best understand the direct value (revenue/margins) and indirect (engagement, in-play magnet, retention, antidote to churn, etc.). Viability is probably the wrong word at this point, the right one is value and indirect value is likely a greater weight in their decision to buy because margin is second order to market share.
