I haven't seen this posted anywhere except for their official discord, but Shiny Shoe says it has "no plans for content updates on the horizon" for Inkbound and is refocusing to work on a new game. Servers will remain online for the foreseeable future.

I can't get over how good the pixel art in Gestalt: Steam & Cinder is. I especially love the detail put into the backgrounds. And the game also has a stellar soundtrack!

Today in NetHack, it is both Friday the 13th AND a New Moon, an event that hasn't occurred in over five years! This is perhaps the worst day to start a game of NetHack, as you'll start out with both a luck penalty, and cockatrice hisses will always turn you to stone

Both approaches are completely valid ways to enjoy the game, of course 😄
