I agree with the angry replies. It’s true that it’s terrible more and more workers are earning at or near the minimum wage. But the problem is that lots of workers need a big pay rise after a long period of stagnating real wages, not that the lowest paid are earning too much.

There were 1,133 deaths from drug use in 2025. An increase of 11% compared to the previous year.
There was a 19% increase in drug use deaths in males and a 5% decrease in females compared to 2024.
