#Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian says
“We could be like other teams and play Jones Junior High tonight and win 66–0. I don’t know what that does for us. What I think it does for us, is we found out we can (win big games).”

WHEN YOU REALIZE THE BABY BOOM WASN'T JUST SOLDIERS COMING HOME HORNY.
It was soldiers coming home to the GI Bill free college, 0% down home loans, low-interest business loans.
It was strong unions. Pensions. A house that cost 2 years of salary.
It was confidence that the future was actually going to be better than the present.
That's what produced a baby boom. Not romance. Security.
You want a higher birth rate now?
Give people a future where they know their kids will actually be okay.
That's the whole formula. It's not complicated. It's just expensive, and nobody in charge wants to pay for it twice.

The Lucic hire is just so mind boggling man.
The legal stuff from 2023, running Miller, just being a POS in the league for years.
Why hire him over the hundreds of thousands of scouts who have put years even decades into the profession.
Classic hockey culture.
We have announced the following hires and promotions.

Here's a little insight into how Mike Gillis thinks from an interview with The Coaches Site.
"Relative to other sports in the world, hockey is still significantly behind in how you view technology. The latest buzz word is analytics, but analytics is simply a word and how you use data, the kind of data you're collecting, and the answers you're trying to get to are the critical pieces of analytics. For some teams that's one thing, for another team it's completely different.
What I found in Vancouver was that we had a team that had been run a certain way for a long, long period of time. We had severe disadvantages geographically that no one had even attempted to overcome. We got the US military involved who are the best sports scientists in the world by far and we used their fatigue management people and they collected the data. The key data was sleep patterns, time in the air traveling, time zones changed, and practice times. So we built a predictive algorithm around those key features and we kept refining it, and refining it, and refining it.
Eventually we had a number that we would start with at the beginning of the season for every game we played. If that number was 90 or above, our winning percentage was 75% or above. If it was below 90 - which is crazy to think one number could be that predictive - we would drop down to about 40-55%. So we began changing travel to get those numbers to 90. So if we had a data point that during this week we had to travel through 8 time zones with x number of hours in the air, we would begin to adjust different things around that to get that number to 90."
