Fabulous little shibboleth for the American new-right, where basically every person in the country came together to enjoy something delightful together, and the right *immediately* made it about race-mixing and wanting to have sex with teenage girls.
I was recommended a podcast early this year and I turned it off when the host started plugging their novel. I just jumped back in and turns out it’s some book called Yesteryear.
Nice going alienating a listener, I’m sure the book didn’t sell enough to justify that 🙄
