The architects of 7 October did not take long to write their next chapter in blood: #IranMassacre2026. And each time, the progressives of the West stood beside our murderers, lending a moral shelter to the so-called #AxisOfResistance

Indeed, the pattern is familiar: “engage, fall short, and move on to the next audience without building anything durable.”
One wonders whether early years marked by unstable family ties and broken commitments make sustained alliances feel more costly than temporary withdrawals.
Treating the midterms as a reason to appease the regime in Tehran and rethink ties with Israel misses the clearer test. Does the policy lock in reliable partners that actually serve American interests?
The Iranian people have risen against the Islamic Republic again and again. They have rejected its ideology and made clear that a free Iran would stand with the United States on energy and security. A normal Iran is a natural partner. It opens closed markets to American firms, cuts the long-term U.S. military burden in the region, and removes an adversary that works closely with China and Russia.
That shift strengthens the United States in its competition with China. A free Iran secures critical energy routes and Persian Gulf oil flows outside Beijing’s orbit, denies China a key regional partner, and frees American resources and attention for the Indo-Pacific. Ignoring this while signaling readiness to walk away from Israel and Ukraine shows little sense of which allies actually hold.
Picking the wrong counterpart, gaining little, and then treating the shortfall as reason to ease off only gives a desperate regime more time. Engage, fall short, move on without building anything durable is a recipe for failure. Short-term political calculations should not take priority over lasting alignments. When it happens, American interests stay exposed while the other side simply waits.
Iranians will keep working to end the Islamic Republic. America First means recognizing a free Iran is a reliable partner that advances U.S. interests against China, not postponing it for domestic optics.

My sincere thanks to Belgian Defense Minister @FranckenTheo for his invitation to address the Royal Military Academy. I was pleased to speak to Belgium’s future military officers and leadership.
I look forward to the day when a free Iran again advances global peace, security.
It was a great honor to welcome @PahlaviReza to our @RMA_Belgium for an insightful discussion about the situation in the Middle East.
In a guest lecture for our next generation of military leaders, he delivered a powerful message of hope.
The present rulers in Iran hold global trade hostage. They enable Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. They violently suppress dissent at home and export instability abroad. Yet a different Iran is also possible. One in which the Iranian people can choose their own form of government in free and fair elections. An Iran that cooperates with its neighbors instead of threatening them. One that works with Europe instead of dividing it.
This message of hope has left me and many others with a lot to think about. Imagining such a different future is exactly what the oppressive rulers in Tehran seek to prevent by means of intimidation. But hope for a better future will always conquer fear.
I am proud to stand alongside a leader of such stature.
Thank you for your visit and for your inspiring words!
Grow Up Europ
and ask Iranains what is the best for them!
What the liberal West suffers from is not a lack of options, but a chronic deficit of decisiveness, assertiveness and political courage. Instead of taking responsibility and confronting the consequences of inaction, it retreats into passive aggression, moral posturing and the pursuit of the easiest way out.
For millions of people living under the threat of terrorism and repression, this political hesitation is not an abstract debate. It is a matter of life and death. Those who advocate passivity must also be prepared to acknowledge their share of responsibility for its consequences. You cannot indefinitely stand on the sidelines, demand the benefits of freedom, and refuse to confront the forces destroying it.
Finish the job @POTUS

When a foreign dictatorship uses its embassy network to map, threat, and dictate who is allowed to speak in Frankfurt, those buildings are no longer embassies, they are operational hubs for transnational terror.
How much longer will Europe tolerate this insult to its own sovereignty?
It is time to shut down the mullahs' terror nests, expel their so-called diplomats. Diplomatic immunity must not mean immunity for terror!

They pride themselves on being guardians of public safety, yet their actions leave victims of terrorism facing an unconscionable choice between two unacceptable outcomes: surrender their freedom of expression and accept cancellation, or exercise their right to speak and risk their safety. This is not the protection of democratic freedoms; it is the abandonment of those who need that protection most. No one should have to choose between being silenced and being endangered.
Replying to @traumafrontiers
This is a shame for European politicians, mayors, and national security forces. They are proving unable to guarantee the physical safety of their own citizens & tourists, show little regard for freedom of expression, and display weakness in the face of threats from the Islamic Republic.

The West’s proclaimed commitment to democracy, freedom of speech and human rights increasingly looks like an elaborate deception. Its invocation of security concerns has become another instrument of silencing and discrediting Iranians or Jews, by those who claim to champion the very freedoms they systematically undermine.
Dear Western establishments, feel free to abandon the pretence: at least have the intellectual honesty to admit that you are in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood while continuing to lecture others about democracy and freedom.

seit wann lässt sich Deutschland von Terrordrohungen eines ausländischen Regimes einschüchtern?

It is difficult to justify the cost of living in a city whose leadership appears increasingly selective in its commitment to democratic freedoms. Frankfurt cannot present itself as an international city of tolerance and openness while failing to ensure that freedom of political expression and public safety are protected equally.
The apparent double standards in the city's treatment of Iranian political voices, particularly in the contrast between its public gestures of solidarity with certain activists and the controversy surrounding Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi's appearance, raise serious questions about political consistency and institutional accountability.
Residents work hard and pay substantial taxes. They deserve clean streets, reliable public transport, effective public services and, above all, a city that takes public safety seriously.
If Frankfurt's mayor cannot uphold these basic responsibilities and guarantee equal protection for freedom of expression, he/She should resign.

No wonder the regime has survived for almost five decades.
The threats and intimidation directed at Iranian patriots and freedom fighters by the 1979 Islamist–Marxist-Leninist regime, as well as by far-left and ultra-left activists, are neither new nor confined to any one country. What is particularly disturbing is the persistent willingness of Western institutions and sections of Western society to capitulate to these threats.
The cancellation of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s speech is a case in point.
Meanwhile, the MEK and certain so-called activists have effectively become proxies for the terrorists regime’s machinery of intimidation, helping extend its reach and silence Iranian voices across the diaspora.
Under the guise of journalism, activism and freedom of expression, they exploit the very liberties they claim to defend to legitimise hatred, intimidate dissenters and impose ideological censorship.
In fact, some have built careers, platforms and political relevance around Iranian suffering, yet show little interest in the freedom Iranians themselves are demanding. They appear more invested in preserving their own influence than in recognising the political aspirations of the Iranian people.
