خبر درگذشت حمید علیدوستی برایم اندوه‌بار بود و خاطرات سال‌های دور را در ذهنم زنده کرد.
من در دوران نوجوانی، مسابقات او را با علاقه دنبال می‌کردم و این فرصت را هم داشتم که در تمرینات تیم ملی از نزدیک با وی آشنا شوم. آنچه از حمید علیدوستی در خاطرم مانده، تنها مهارتش در فوتبال نیست، بلکه بیش از هر چیز، منش نیکو، فروتنی و اخلاق ستودنی اوست.
درگذشت او را به خانواده، دوستان و دوستدارانش از صمیم قلب تسلیت می‌گویم. یادش گرامی.

Yasmine Pahlavi said Friday that German police had informed her and her husband, Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Crown Prince of Iran, that they would not be allowed to attend or address a rally in Frankfurt on Saturday because of threats from the Islamic Republic.
She said police warned that Tehran could retaliate by targeting people in the crowd if her husband attended. The exiled Crown Prince is scheduled to receive a freedom prize in Frankfurt on behalf of the Iranian people.

It was a great honor to welcome @PahlaviReza to our @RMA_Belgium for an insightful discussion about the situation in the Middle East.
In a guest lecture for our next generation of military leaders, he delivered a powerful message of hope.
The present rulers in Iran hold global trade hostage. They enable Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. They violently suppress dissent at home and export instability abroad. Yet a different Iran is also possible. One in which the Iranian people can choose their own form of government in free and fair elections. An Iran that cooperates with its neighbors instead of threatening them. One that works with Europe instead of dividing it.
This message of hope has left me and many others with a lot to think about. Imagining such a different future is exactly what the oppressive rulers in Tehran seek to prevent by means of intimidation. But hope for a better future will always conquer fear.
I am proud to stand alongside a leader of such stature.

لغو حضور رضاشاه دوم در جمعیت بخاطر سطح بالای تنش و تهدیداتی بود که در روزهای اخیر توسط جمهوری اسلامی و فرزند حرامزاده‌اش، مجاهدین خلق، ایجاد شده بود.
امنیت شاه از هر چیزی برای ما مهم تره و در اولویت تمام فعالیتهای ما باید قرار داشته باشه. درحالیکه این ماجرا (حفظ امنیت شاه) رو باید به فال نیک گرفت؛ همزمان باید دولت آلمان و شهردار فرانکفورت رو بخاطر عدم توانایی در برقراری امنیت و تبعیض در دموکراسی، به زبان هایی غیر از فارسی، پاسخگو کرد.

If a terrorist organization or a terrorist regime can influence a country’s policies and decisions by threatening to attack it, and succeed in achieving its demands through intimidation, then every terrorist regime will learn to use threats as a tool to advance its own agenda.
Our message to the German government is clear: ensure the security of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s speech and do not allow the threats of a terrorist regime to dictate Germany’s independent policies and decisions.
Giving in to threats only encourages terrorism to make even greater demands.

It is difficult to justify the cost of living in a city whose leadership appears increasingly selective in its commitment to democratic freedoms. Frankfurt cannot present itself as an international city of tolerance and openness while failing to ensure that freedom of political expression and public safety are protected equally.
The apparent double standards in the city's treatment of Iranian political voices, particularly in the contrast between its public gestures of solidarity with certain activists and the controversy surrounding Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi's appearance, raise serious questions about political consistency and institutional accountability.
Residents work hard and pay substantial taxes. They deserve clean streets, reliable public transport, effective public services and, above all, a city that takes public safety seriously.
If Frankfurt's mayor cannot uphold these basic responsibilities and guarantee equal protection for freedom of expression, he/She should resign.
