Ralf Rangnick said this about Man United in 2022 👀:
🗣️ "It's crystal clear. It's not that difficult. You don't even need glasses to analyse and see where the problems are.
So, now it is only about how do we solve them and for me it is clear that it is not enough to do some little minor amendments, some minor cosmetic things. In medicine you would say this is an operation of the open heart."

Everyone is saying the same thing about Roy Keane's leadership after an old post-match interview resurfaced 👀:
🗣️ "I don't want to go into too much detail, but Patrick Vieira is 6ft 4 and starts having a go at Gary Neville. So, I just said, 'Come and have a go at me', simple as that.
If players want to intimidate some of my teammates, then let's have a go at some of the other players. They think Gary Neville is an easy target.
I'm not having it!"

I would never say that @barneyronay is wasted writing about sport because I lap his stuff up. But this is also superb on the politics and sociology of PSG in a rioting Paris

For Democrat Scott Colom, his quest to win a US Senate seat in Mississippi is a long shot but not a lost cause.
The 43-year-old local district attorney is hoping to topple Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith in a deep-red state that hasn't sent a Democrat to the chamber in nearly four decades or elected a Black candidate in a statewide race since the Reconstruction era. President Donald Trump won the state two years ago by 23 points. cnn.it/3VZIkdB

Yesterday, I was proud to join more than 600 University of Houston-Downtown students who marched to the polls and stood up to Republican voter suppression.
They are opposing authoritarianism and fighting for democracy.
That’s exactly what we have got to do all over America.

This is probably the single best Two minute clip I have seen in a long time.
Anderson Cooper, who is gay, making fun of how gay Donald Trump is.
And I will repeat. There’s nothing wrong with being gay. The problem is hypocrisy.

BREAKING: The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) fell -300,000 barrels last week, to 282.7 million barrels, the lowest level since October 1982.
Since March 20th, US oil inventories in the SPR have dropped -132.8 million, or -32%.
We have now seen drawdowns in 29 of the last 30 weeks.
For perspective, oil reserves in the SPR stood at 653.9 million barrels in 2020, or +131% above current levels.
Meanwhile, commercial crude oil stocks excluding the SPR dropped -3.1 million barrels last week, to 412.5 million barrels, the lowest reading since the end of July.
This is also ~3% below the 5-year average for this time of year.
America's oil stockpiles are at critically low levels.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wanted a historic World War II-era globe associated with Dwight D. Eisenhower moved to his Pentagon office.
On February 3, his staff tried moving it without professional curators, who were furloughed during a government shutdown.
They dropped the globe, puncturing its shell and breaking its rotating mount. The damaged artifact was never relocated.
