So you wake up in the morning, your alarm is several minutes late; it’s no matter that you hit the snooze button more than once, the fact is that you just woke up and you are running late. You rush 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️through your morning routine and make your way to work,

I've recently become obsessed with early morning Mass.🥹
I love the simplicity that comes with it. It's just me and my God, with little or no crowd, no noise, just a quiet moment of fellowship. I think I've finally found my space.☺️❤️
Or better still speak to your parish priest about your concerns rather than bring it here.
The church belongs to all if us and there's room for improvement and amendment.
I too de confuse my fellow parishioner. They can't tell if I am a youth or a married woman. Na everyday dem de tell me to come join CWO.
There are two types of people during harvest and bazaar;
1. The ones that make donations &
2. The ones that calculate the donations made.
Guys, I'm the calculator. E don tey wey I start this bad habit. Pray for me, make God help me ❤️

Pope Leo XIV outside the Parish of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus in Juanicó, Uruguay:

Pope Leo XIV to the young people of Uruguay, "Christ did not call us to mediocrity":
"Be saints! Do not settle for a life that is merely proper, nor for a faith based on habit that is content with the bare minimum. Do not give God only a part of yourselves; give yourselves completely! To be a saint means to be a man or woman overflowing with the abundance of life in Christ—free, authentic, and living in a way that makes a resounding “yes” to love, truth, and happiness truly desirable. Do not be afraid to aspire to this. Christ did not call us to mediocrity; He called us to a new and full life, just like His own."

I would also like to address fathers and grandfathers. Young people need to see that you pray, receive the sacraments, treat your wives with respect, ask for forgiveness and live with integrity, even when doing so requires sacrifice. Children learn a great deal by seeing that their father can kneel before God without feeling that he is any less of a man for doing it.

If you give Tïnubu a second chance, he will come to your bedroom to look for money to take. He removed the subsidy and claims we have more, but he pocketed it. Peter Obi and I will make Nigeria great again.

"Let us look for another way to raise funds"
It's not looking for another way, it is looking for another profitable way. If you put fundraiser apart from mass, people will not come.
Having separate fundraisers is unique to oyimbo way of life. Try it in Nigeria and it won't work at all.
Oh, your church has beautiful edifice, looking good everyday. One thing is to build, another thing is to maintain. Now talk about electricity bills, workers wages etc.
Does harvest season last all year? Please, please.

Stay with me
I grew up believing the Yoruba were Nigeria's most educated people.
My dad said so often. The most professors in the country, and institutions like Unilag and Uniben to prove it.
In 2003, I visited Lagos for the first time, desperate to be close to that knowledge. I was the boy who never accepted "that's just how it works." I always had to know why.
Unilag was my dream. I ended up at ESUT, and I'm grateful for every step of that road.
Today I live and learn in Lagos, and one question won't leave me:
How does a people I admired for chasing education end up celebrating, even campaigning for, someone who embodies none of what they taught me to value?
- No family background.
- No educational background.
- No morals.
I understand a broken system. But a society with the most professors and the best institutions should be sharp enough, and strong-willed enough, to reject ideologies that threaten their own way of life (forgery and thuggery)
Nigeria has oil, land, and minerals. Its greatest resource is the 200M+ people who live and work in it.
I still chase education because I want to be the Yoruba I was told about.
Happy Sunday. God bless us all. Amen. 🙏
