The newest Lancet editorial makes the case that economic sanctions are not just policy tools but mass-death engines:

People think that Palestinian liberation has to conform to a Jewish feelings and their narrative of exceptional trauma. This is the definition of Jewish supremacy, entitlement, and privilege.
I reject completely the idea that we need to talk about Jewish comfort while they’re literally slaughtering our children and families, destroying our homes and heritage, and stealing it all with sadistic glee.
And I invite others, especially Jews of conscience, to join me in rejecting the notion.

We have been supporting 20-year-old Saeed for well over a year. His smile still warms our hearts!!
Support Saeed’s monthly supply: chuffed.org/project/136892-m…
Saeed lives with cerebral palsy and spinal curvature, and his mother cares for him day and night - making sure he is comfortable, protected, and always knows how deeply he is loved. May God bless her efforts and protect Saeed.
His care requires constant support: formula and nutritional assistance, diapers, medications, supplements, creams, food, and other daily necessities. It takes an entire network of care to protect his health and keep that beautiful smile on his face - but due to Gaza’s collapsed healthcare system, Saeed’s support only comes from us.
On September 6, The Sameer Project provided Saeed with medications for three months, formula, food support, diapers, and other essential supplies. Each time we visit with goods from our storage and medication from our warehouse as well as fresh food, the cost is around $200.
The Sameer Project can no longer take on new individual cases like Saeed’s. And if funding does not improve, even the families we have supported consistently may become harder to sustain.
Imagine how many lives we could reach if this kind of support were consistent instead of uncertain!!
Please support The Sameer Project’s Medical Campaign: chuffed.org/project/136892-m…. Your sustained support allows us to keep showing up for patients like Saeed - not once, but month after month because true support is making sure the person is cared for, they are not just another number.

I saw NAZA and it made me think of the poor soldiers who had to do these things. Are they really to blame? I’m a journalist who works at Jewish Currents

Here is a hint of why Palestinians are uncomfortable with Jews and Israelis making NAZA and writing about it. Below graphic is from the dialogue above.

At 79 and 59, Saeed Al-Najjar and Heyam Yassine got married in #Gaza.
After years marked by war, displacement and loss, they decided there was still room for something new: a home, a companion, a life together.
Their love is exceptional because in Gaza, choosing to build a life in the middle of devastation is its own kind of defiance.
This is their story 👇🏻
people are still describing Jewish supremacy as the behaviour of a few extremists.... extremists operate at the margins. when the hierarchy has legislation, ministries, courts, settlements and an army behind it, you are describing state power.
Replying to @oliveegirl
then you should know better than to tie a fundraising acc you cultivated to propagate bigotry. you have a chance to delete this and avoid placing blame on a religion, but on its extremist subverters instead.

Why the fuck do we need Ilan Pappe to “reveal” the reasons behind October 7 when Hamas has literally published it over two years ago in “Our Narrative - Operation Al-Aqsa Flood”

Anyway, thank you to Colin Karpernick for paying for Nolan Wells independent autopsy. Alot of that new evidence was because of you.
At capacity, The Sameer Project kitchen can produce 3,000 meals every single day, with each meal serving approximately 2–3 people.
And we can scale up even further. We have the ability to produce up to 5,000 meals a day!!
So why aren’t we? Funding. That’s it.
Right now, we may be able to produce around 1,500 meals when the need demands 5,000 - more. The kitchen exists. The team exists. The infrastructure exists. The ability to scale exists. What we need is the monetary support to purchase raw ingredients and keep the operational logistics moving.
It is painful to watch this capacity go unused while families are hungry and enormous sums of humanitarian funding - donations supporting large iNGO’s - sit there without reaching people quickly enough.
On September 9, The Samee Project kitchen team showed their work as rice and chicken breast meals were prepared. In one external distribution in the South alone, we distributed 517 rice and kofta meals from our kitchen at a cost of $1,481 total after commission.
We know how to scale. We know how to reach people. We are ready to cook more. We just need the funding to do it.

The Resilient Prosthetic Limb
Saleh Hameed, a boy of unyielding determination from the heart of Al-Shati camp in Gaza, chases his football dream with a prosthetic leg amidst the rubble of destroyed homes. His injury was never an obstacle to his ambitions, but a testament to his strength. Every day, he steps onto the alleyways and near the neighboring school, bringing energy and hope to the children of his neighborhood.

I really can’t respect any politician or elected official getting arrested protesting Netanyahu today if they’re not also publicly demanding that Mamdani drop Jessica Tisch as NYPD commissioner.
And that’s me using kid gloves. They should be lambasting him for allowing his NYPD to arrest anti-genocide protesters while rolling out the red carpet for Netanyahu with a massive police escort through NYC.
You cannot turn getting arrested into a performative act of resistance while refusing to confront the mayor whose administration oversees the police arresting you.
He ran on arresting Netanyahu. His NYPD is arresting Netanyahu’s protesters instead. At minimum, demand accountability from the people in power.
The moral cowards are the ones that allowed him to speak instead of arresting him.
Delegates at the UN General Assembly in New York walk out as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives to deliver a speech.
He responds by calling them "moral cowards".

“Criticism is not betrayal. It is the duty of every citizen whose government commits crimes to know, and of every soldier who witnessed them to tell.”
So the government commits crimes and its soldiers ‘witness them’.

We must demand that Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor immediately release the names of every soldier to whom they granted confidentiality in their documentary NAZA while documenting admissions of war crimes.
There is something fundamentally perverse about creating films and journalism centered on Israeli soldiers confessing to atrocities against Palestinians while simultaneously protecting those soldiers from identification and potential accountability.
Palestinian suffering cannot simply become material through which Israeli filmmakers interrogate their own society, generate discourse, win acclaim, or invite audiences to contemplate the psychology of the perpetrators. These testimonies contain admissions of war crimes. The question cannot end with what these soldiers said or how their confessions made an audience feel. The question is what accountability follows.
Otherwise, Palestinian suffering is once again transformed into spectacle, while the people responsible for inflicting it remain protected.

In order to silence the skies above Gaza, we must shut Elbit down.
