Daily truck traffic from Rostov Oblast to occupied Crimea via the R-280 highway has fallen from around 2,000 to just 800–1,000, a decline of 50–60% since Ukraine launched its mid-range strike campaign against Russia’s land corridor to Crimea in May 2026.
The figures come from a statement by head of Crimea’s Russian-controlled freight carriers association.

🕸️🕷️We’re planning to raise funds for net launchers to protect Ukrainian ground robots (UGVs) from Russian FPV drones in one of our upcoming NAFO campaign!
Our friends from the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade’s UGV unit have requested these systems for testing. (Same one as used in the pinned post)
I’m already familiar with units such as Omega, which are testing this technology in combat. Now the 110th Brigade wants to try it too.
Rather than waiting for our next campaign, we’d like to provide them with a small test package now, so they can familiarize themselves with the systems, learn how to operate them, and gain practical experience while we raise funds for a larger supply.
The initial test package costs $582 and includes:
1 × 3×3 m net launcher with 5 nets
1 × 6×6 m net launcher with 5 nets
That’s 2 launchers and 10 nets to get them started.
If we can raise $582 now, they can begin learning and testing the systems while we prepare the larger fundraiser.

Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, which is controlled by Russia, Vladimir Kuryanov, is engaged in intimate correspondence with 21-year-old Darina Savicheva, an employee of the university's press service. According to the publication INжир media, Kuryanov is married, and the age difference between him and the young employee is approximately 45 years.

Democrats are preparing an investigation into the Trump-Putin deal regarding Russian diesel, - Axios.
Democrats have demanded that major American banks and port authorities preserve all documents and correspondence related to the potential import of Russian diesel and other transactions with it.
If the party regains control of at least one of the chambers of Congress, the investigation into the Trump-Moscow agreement will become a priority.
Legislators believe that the deal may violate the 2022 law prohibiting the import of Russian petroleum products, and also effectively finances the war against Ukraine. However, the U.S. Treasury Department insists that the agreement is legal.

The HIV epidemic has spread to almost 30 regions of Russia and has extended beyond high-risk groups, according to Rospotrebnadzor (the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing).
The number of people living with HIV continues to grow, and the virus is now spreading not only within high-risk groups but also among the general population.
Among men aged 40 to 50, HIV has been detected in more than 3%. In total, over 1.2 million people in Russia are living with this diagnosis.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet cannot use the repair base in Crimea.
"The repair base in Crimea is like an empty service station. It exists, and even personnel go to work, but there's one problem – it's mined. There are no people willing to enter Crimea and repair anything there. Experience has shown that there are no places in Crimea that can be considered safe if you anchor there. Moreover, this applies not only to Crimea,"
– said Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk.
He also assessed the repair capabilities for the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the ports of Ochamchira (Abkhazia, Georgia) and Novorossiysk.
"Ochamchira is not the kind of base or harbor that allows the Black Sea Fleet to be stationed there. It's a base that could be used, for example, for the needs of the Russian FSB's maritime security service. Only Novorossiysk remains as a base that has a fortified defensive perimeter and, due to its technical parameters, depths, and the availability of piers, can accommodate such a number of ships."

After the hot summer we at the Bakery thought: The basement in which we are located is pretty good insulated because it was cool all summer.
Now we have october and it turns out that we cant only heat with the oven when baking bread.
We need an additional heating. Especially for the childrens playroom (Image 4: Left room is Playground. Right room upper right Corner is oven).
