کیپٹن صفدر نے مرحومہ عاصمہ جہانگیر صاحبہ کے بارے میں جس انداز میں گفتگو کی، اس کی جتنی مذمت کی جائے کم ہے۔ ان کی گزشتہ روز کی تقریر میں مذہبی جذبات کو جس انداز میں استعمال کیا گیا وہ انتہائی تشویش ناک ہے۔
مذہب کو سیاسی اختلافات اور ذاتی مقاصد کے لیے استعمال کرنے کی اجازت کسی کو بھی نہیں ہونی چاہیے چاہے وہ کیپٹن صفدر ہوں TLP کے لوگ ہو ہو یا تحریک طالبان TTP۔ مذہبی جذبات کو سیاسی مقاصد کے لیے بھڑکانا معاشرتی امن، رواداری اور انسانی جانوں کے لیے سنگین خطرات پیدا کر سکتا ہے۔
اب وقت آگیا ہے کہ کیپٹن صفدر کی اس نوعیت کی گفتگو کا سنجیدگی سے نوٹس لیا جائے۔ سیاسی اختلاف اپنی جگہ لیکن کسی کو بھی یہ حق حاصل نہیں کہ وہ مذہبی جذبات بھڑکا کر دوسروں کی زندگیوں اور سلامتی کو خطرے میں ڈالے اختلافِ رائے کا جواب دلیل، مکالمے اور سیاسی شعور سے دیا جانا چاہیے مذہبی اشتعال انگیزی سے نہیں۔

Denying girls education in this day and age is unjustifiable under any pretext, even if the alternative is teaching Taliban-style Sharia. Supporting the Taliban means supporting human rights violations. if you @drzakiranaik believe in human rights.!
I never imagined Dr. @drzakiranaik would defend the Taliban’s ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan.
He claims schools and universities are merely “postponed,” not banned, because there are no female teachers. But if schools are closed, where are those teachers supposed to come from—the sky?
Is this the logic of a learned Islamic scholar?
He also claims Afghan women are pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Islamic studies. Where is the evidence?
If a globally known scholar resorts to such arguments, what can we expect from local mullahs?
Afghan girls deserve education, not excuses.

When @drzakiranaik defends the Taliban and claims they treat women well simply because girls are allowed to attend school until sixth grade, he is engaging in an outrageous whitewashing of the systematic oppression of Afghan women!
Millions of girls are being robbed of their futures, while women are excluded from education, employment, and public life. And this is supposed to be good treatment?
Anyone who justifies such oppression while accusing the media of lying is not speaking the truth, they are helping whitewash the systematic denial of fundamental human rights.
This is a textbook example of how religion is weaponized to legitimize discrimination, oppression, and human rights abuses.
Denying women their fundamental rights is not religious virtue, it is injustice. And those who defend this injustice are helping normalize it!
