Why not get out there and give this new route a go? #LoveCyclingWM
#Birmingham #Cycle Revolution A34 cycle route OPEN! It’s bold, it’s blue, it’s the new traffic-free cycle route along the A34 between Birmingham city centre and Heathfield Road in #Lozells. And it's now largely OPEN, so why not give it a go? #BCR #Cycling

All city councillors, here’s the once in a generation chance to make this a reality. It need not be at the expense of economics- higher density buildings with park frontage and views can realise top ££. Essential that the park is 15 acres+ to achieve the objective.
Great news that a @BhamCityCouncil committee will be now considering our park case further..(1/2)

My favourite thing about spending my days talking and writing about #pavementparking is that I never have to walk far from @livingstreets’ HQ to find an example.
"In addition to ‘traditional’ driver responses of changes to route, destination and/or mode, Clean Air Zones are also likely to affect vehicle ownership". David Connolly on SYSTRA's work to inform the development of CAZs, as heard at Modelling World today.

Its the responsibility gap. Children below teenage simply can't be relied upon to protect themselves on the road no matter how much road safety training they have. Its why we need 20mph limits where people are bit.ly/2pXNVOn

2/2 For a start you could make a mention of pavement parking in you ‘Civic Parking Policy’ document. In the current version the word ‘pavement’ does not appear. basingstoke.gov.uk/content/p…
