This is important! H-1Bs are admitted to do a specific job for a specific employer. If that job ends, they need to leave the US, not compete with Americans for other jobs, which the “60-day grace period” allows them to do. Submit your comment!
This proves that a lot of people would rather fight and argue on X than actually submit a public comment where it can make a difference. Total Comments: 10,648 Comments opposing regulation: 9,145 Comments supporting regulation: 1,192 Wow. I honestly can’t believe this. We will lose on this regulation too. If you ever do any serious work you’ll quickly find out that Microsoft is the only out of the box compliant platform for most government, military, or healthcare work and that accounts for most of the economy either through prime or subcontractors.

With the passing of Keir Starmers leadership this marks the most volatile period for leadership in the history of the United Kingdom, 7 prime ministers in 10 years. The nation is a failed state.

How my quirk chungus millennial coethnics look at me when I tell them about the new feature rich update to the Torment Nexus.

Everyone should know that you will get much further in life jumping over gatekeepers. Talk the program manager directly and sell yourself to the people that get things done. The panopticon makes it easy to pull personal contact info on anyone.
This is the DEI recruiter that is throwing your kid's resume in the trash and blocking him from internships. She has no experience in tech. She's been in HR her entire life. Yet because she doesn't like your "presence" you won't even get a chance.

The mandatory gratuity markup for Europeans should automatically be 100%
Some restaurants have planned an automatic 20% tip for U.S. visitors. 💰🇺🇸

Yeah but Qatar just lost a $26 billion natural gas extraction facility that extracts the helium. The shortage is real.

Revolt posters have never tried to work within the system. They do not write actual letters to representatives, they do not call local politicians, they do not show up to local meetings. The system is weak and bows to the smallest pressure.
God letting Charlie die suggests that He does not want us to win within the confines of the system.

My total cost was about $500 using midwives. Goyim love getting scalped by hospitals that treat them worse than ancient slaves.

The question of consciousness as an abstract category is wrong, the question is of personhood and that relates to the role of being.
those of us who played SOMA growing up learned this lesson early on transhumanism's mistake was making identity abstract - it was no longer continuity that mattered, no longer *you*, but rather a pattern or data I attended an event a few weeks back where a speaker advocated that for immortality we did not need to keep continuity, and in fact we did not even need brain preservation at all - we simply needed a robust enough collection of our social media posts, pictures, etc, and we could recreate a convincing enough version of ourselves this is the culmination of this way of thinking - you no longer matter; a crude puppet with similar enough features will suffice, and in fact that is you in every way that matters there is an entire subset of the cryo field focused on fixation due to their belief that biological viability does not matter it is fundamentally anti-human and deathist - this was one of the first dangerous ideals that detached us from cosmism, the last true anti-death ideology, and thus began the slippery slope that lead us to a deathist culture in the longevity field today

The realities of food security in the old world are not understood by people today. As recently as the mid 20th century idyllic towns all over Europe faced starvation and political and religious persecution.
my german ancestors saw this and decided it would be a good idea to pack up and emigrate to the bronx

Honor bound systems are an old world phenomenon defunct in a world of atheistic seeping moral relativism.
We should note that there used to be an agreed-upon term for assassinating political leaders in the midst of negotiations. That term is "perfidy." Such acts used to be denigrated as unwise and dishonorable--because they are, even if "effective."

The extraordinary crime permitted in American cities by the government is a feature not a bug.
Bringing down the violent crime rate in poor American neighborhoods would create a tremendous amount of homeowner wealth, no? There's so many great streets in KC that most buyers won't touch because of the shootings problem.

SF nerds should take note of what thin ice they stand on when it comes to locker stuffing normies.
Dario Amodei's new interview: He was asked "If you were in the room with the President right now, what would you say to him?" He says “Disagreeing with the government is the most American thing in the world.” He looks visibly strained.

People who live and work in the real world understand how silly this proposition is. Totally divorced from reality of doing business in the big leagues.
wait. hold up. if you're Amazon, Google, Nvidia, etc, and the government is forcing you to choose between military contracts and Anthropic... are you sure you don't pick Anthropic?

People on the internet have no idea what a FAR clause for defense acquisitions is like.
This whole thing with Anthropic/Claude AI and the Pentagon gets me. The Pentagon apparently signed the same EULA for this LLM as everyone else did, the manufacturer can in fact refuse to sell them a version with the First Law of Robotics disabled, and I doubt any of Hegseth's hack aides at the Department of WAAAAAR are bright enough to figure out the actual legal process to expropriate intellectual property for defense purposes... so they're apparently just trying to strongarm a company with a larger valuation than some members of NATO.
