However, due to the lack of Chiri, Idol Time gave me "Chiri at home," aka Michiru. Jokes aside, even though she's basically another Chiri, she ended up being one ot the best characters in these series. The episode where she helps Aroma pass her tests was so lovely I could cry

As for Idol Land, I didn't really enjoy it that much. I'm not really fond of Amari's design or character, and I didn't like how they forced to watch the male idols' lives more than once. I think the premise had some potential, but the execution was really poor

I get what's the whole point of Amari. Unlike the other protagonists, she's a self-insert. She was made for all those girls who watched the original series as kids and never grew out of watching children's shows. The show is about learning to accept that "cringe" part of herself

I also watched the Aikatsu x Pripara movie. It was really fun, even though the girls from Akari's gen aren't my favorites (I still love them, though). And I might be crazy, but I couldn't help noticing that maybe their legs were just a bit thicker than usual 😭
