A beautiful piece about our friend and artist, Khalik White, his incredible work, and his story. The show is on view through 11/13 in City Hall, inside and outside of @RuePhilaCouncilโs office (room 592).
A City Hall security guard sketches during his breaks. He just had his first show. ebx.sh/EDtkja

Cornbread, a writer from Philadelphia, is widely recognized by graffiti historians as the first person to start writing his name on walls in a stylized fashion back in 1965 with the intent of putting it as many places as possible. Of course people have been writing on walls for as long as time but the culture of graffiti as we know today was born right here with Cornbread
