I am loudly selling myself and my ideas, bang my line willllliam.com/blog/aching-f…
The smartest broke people I know all have the same problem They refuse to sell themselves They think: - Self-promotion = cringe - Marketing = sleazy - Selling = desperate So they stay brilliant, humble, and broke. The market can't pay you if it can't find you

Birth of the girl reading this
I’ve asked this before but is there any historical event that is like the Opposite of 9/11. Like something so good that happened that it changed the world forever

that one year in your mid/late 20s will show you that with enough grit and will to live (and thrive, importantly) you really can survive anything 2024 kicked my ass so thoroughly that I am still feeling the reverbations of it. but I'm here though, so I still have a chance
nobody talks about taking the big swings in your mid/late 20's everything blowing up catastrophically and what it's like starting over and rebuilding your life.

I had recovered , to a reasonable degree, from every mistake I had made in my late teen/early 20s by 28. If anything I learned the exact opposite lesson. That reinvention is very doable with enough doggedness.

“That was the year, my twenty-eighth, when I was discovering that not all of the promises would be kept, that some things are in fact irrevocable and that it had counted after all, every evasion and every procrastination, every mistake, every word, all of it.” Joan Didion, Goodbye to all That

nostalgia is like alcohol. in small dosages if makes you feel alive. in large dosages, you are riding an e-scooter back to your flat while eating a shawarma then the shawarma is lost to the wind and you're bouncing on the cement like a deflated basketball
