You are exactly right. I went to a museum in Sacramento CA a couple weeks ago for a featured exhibit on Egypt. Outer rooms had a couple stunning pieces from the 1800s (like this marble sculpture on the left.) But there was a large exhibit of garbage (like the photo on the right). That’s a rusted lawn chair if you can’t make it out. There’s a saying that “socialism promises status to people who deep down inside know they don’t deserve it”. This void in their soul makes them useful idiots in the war on beauty and humanity. Shame on the museums for allowing these atrocious artists to be highlighted.

Needless to say, I have watched a bunch and while some of the top level stuff is repeated as a basis for each new audience, each interview had a few nuggets that I thought were incredible. I went to a museum in CA - it had art from the early 1800s (incredible) and ‘modern’ art from 2017 (literal garbage). Such a shame. Once criminals started using art to launder money, fake artists so desperate to ‘belong’ became useful idiots … reducing many galleries in museums to no more than landfills.
