Kainess Wedding!! 🌹🥀 Ness is waiting for Kaiser, who is running a little late to his own wedding. Then Michael arrives dressed in the Bastard uniform from the day they met. Alexis can't hold back his tears, always so sentimental. Kaiser is carrying blue roses. #kins #kainess

It's kinda crazy how all the evidence seems to point to ao3 being taken down by a data scraping phishing scam, but fandom circles seem more concerned about people uploading epub files of their fics to their personal google drives and whether or not they're getting enough kudos.

I believe that everyone that has a public gdrive, doc or anything should put it on link only access/have it privated, but if anyone actually took the time of their day to look into these gdrives they'd see that a LOT of them are bs that are not even fanfic

77k links, of which 1.7k are google docs, 12.8k are drive folders, and the rest are epubs. For the docs and drive folders, the uploaders email IDs are visible, many with what appears to be their real names. I'm sure many people are unaware their data has been compromised.

AO3 life had a fic of my friend and I that not only had under 10 hits but was also only up for two months in 2020 and was DELETED FROM GOOGLE DOCS !!! WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE FIC OURSELVES. So no, that website (and all the other popping up) are NOT from drives OR Google docs.

i’m sorry but if you think ao3 life got the fics from google drives i think you need to learn about how technology works and also stop believing everything you’re told bc the creator is clearly lying

not gonna spread rumors but I won’t be surprised if it turns out the ao3 knockoff site, that monetizes fanfics without writers’ knowledge, is behind ao3 security attack. according to some writers, the site has fics that were deleted 10 years ago and fics that are in their DRAFTS
