I’ve always believed that optimism is a strength, both in life and in work and not because everything will go according to plan (coz sometimes it doesn’t). Choosing to see possibilities rather than limitations changes how we approach challenges, make decisions and move forward. Optimism helps us face reality with the belief that there is always something we can do. And sometimes, that belief makes all the difference. 🌻 Happy Sunday @GlenGilmore @BetaMoroney @Nicochan33 @TerenceLeungSF @mikeflache @enricomolinari @AkwyZ @Fabriziobustama @enilev @smaksked @labordeolivier @FrRonconi @SiddharthKS @Shi4Tech @HaroldSinnott @DigitalLeadTim @sallyeaves @PawlowskiMario @CurieuxExplorer @mvollmer1 @Khulood_Almani @RLDI_Lamy @ingliguori @RagusoSergio @AlbertoEMachado @Eli_Krumova @NevilleGaunt @WSWMUC @Ym78200 @MHcommunicate @jeancayeux @Ronald_vanLoon @anand_narang @debashis_dutta @IanLJones98 @baski_LA @kashthefuturist @avrohomg @Xbond49 @AlAmadi1 @mcanducci @marcusborba @SegundoConnect #stayoptimistic #sunday #sundaymood #keepgoing

What Can the Last Great Crash Say About the Next One? Oil, AI, and the Perils of Technological Revolution ineteconomics.org/perspectiv… ✍️ James K. Galbraith via @INETeconomics 👉 The author challenges traditional views by arguing that the Great Crash of 1929 was precipitated by massive oil discoveries that destabilised existing energy economics rather than just financial speculation. 👉 He draws a parallel to today's AI boom, warning that hyper-concentrated investments in AI mimic the destructive market patterns and flawed economic intelligence of the late 1920s. 💡 By grounding his warning in physical resource dynamics and systemic leverage, Galbraith's provocative thesis delivers a sobering reminder that massive technological leaps frequently cause profound economic instability long before they deliver their promised productivity. @Corix_JC @TheAIObserverX @SonuMonika @maponi @JagersbergKnut @ahier @ChuckDBrooks @Shi4Tech @CEO_AISOMA @sallyeaves @ThEiLe0 @dinisguarda @TarakRindani @FrRonconii @Ym78200 @Nicochan33 @Khulood_Almani @TysonLester @SusanHayes_ @rvp @EstelaMandela @JoannMoretti @sulefati7 @NeiraOsci @FernandaKellner @pchamard @darioandriani @ALouiseLavalett @Fabriziobustama @amalmerzouk @arlenenewbigg @drsharwood @mikeflache @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Eli_Krumova @PVynckier @chidambara09 @sminaev2015 @NathaliaLeHen @MHcommunicate @DanielleLargier

The moment a car stops needing the road, transportation changes forever. 🚗➡️🚀 This futuristic concept imagines a sports car capable of vertical takeoff — driving normally one second, then rising directly above the street the next. No runway. No traffic jam. No traditional road limits. If personal vehicles eventually combine road driving with vertical flight, cities may need an entirely new transportation infrastructure above us. 🌆 The question is no longer simply: “Will cars fly?” It’s: “What happens to cities when they do?” Would you trust a vehicle like this for your daily commute? 👇 #FlyingCars #FutureMobility #AI #IoT #5G #Tech #Mobility #Technology #SDGs #FutureTech #Innovation Cc: @jblefevre60 @Nicochan33 @pierrepinna @RosyCoaching @kalydeoo @Ym78200 @enilev @FrRonconii @CurieuxExplorer @Khulood_Almani @mvollmer1 @JoannMoretti @margaretsiegien @Shi4Tech @anand_narang @Eli_Krumova @HaroldSinnott @bimedotcom @EvanKirstel @Hana_ElSayyed @sallyeaves @SpirosMargaris @ipfconline1 @LaurentAlaus @Analytics_699 @Jeffkagan @AndresVilarino @efipm @FMFrancoise @MHcommunicate @Corix_JC @JolaBurnett @JeromeMONANGE @mary_gambara @drsharwood @smoothsale @sulefati7 @debashis_dutta @dinisguarda @devbhatt72 @terence_mills @BetaMoroney @mdrechsler @MarshaCollier @avrohomg @NevilleGaunt @PamMktgNut @arlenenewbigg

🧠 New Research Tests Whether AI Models Know Their Own Thoughts 📍By injecting “thoughts” directly into large language models, researchers are trying to map out AI’s capacity for introspection. Whether that amounts to introspection is still an open question. That’s the central finding of Ben Brubaker’s November 4 article in @QuantaMagazine 🤖 The experiment: Anthropic researcher Jack Lindsey amplified activity patterns inside Claude associated with concepts such as denim or vegetables, without naming the concept in the prompt. The strongest Claude version tested correctly flagged the change and identified the concept in about 20% of trials. In that experiment, the unmodified controls never reported an injection 📍The follow-up is what caught my attention. Researchers found that models could still flag a disturbance even when their ability to identify the concept deteriorated. The injected signal itself may have nudged the model to mention the concept. Detecting that something had changed seemed to be a separate ability. 🧠 The neuroscience question. Detecting a disturbance could be closer to a reflex. A stronger test would ask whether the model forms a representation of its own thinking, something like I’m thinking about apples. Drawing that distinction is difficult even in humans, and these experiments leave subjective experience untested. Note: If a model flags an unusual internal event, its explanation of the event needs independent verification. #NeuroAI #Interpretability #CognitiveScience #LLMs quantamagazine.org/new-resea… @Khulood_Almani @Shi4Tech @jblefevre60 @dinisguarda @Eli_Krumova @ipfconline1 @HaroldSinnott @ThEiLe0 @Mack1510019 @drsharwood @EvanKirstel @ahier @RLDI_Lamy @Timothy_Hughes @Ym78200 @Nicochan33 @mvollmer1 @jeancayeux @rvp @SusanFourtane @amalmerzouk @bamitav @Fabriziobustama @FrRonconii @domingonarvaez1 @c4trends @TerenceLeungSF @aure79lien @EstelaMandela @NevilleGaunt @stanleywaite1 @pchamard @corixpartners #Consciousness #ML #NeuralNetworks Credit: Kristina Armitage Quanta Magazine

A Heart Means Recursion: Exploring Visual Meaning and Communication in VLMs arxiv.org/abs/2610.36449v1 ✍️ @ARTartaglini @ZhengxuanZenWu @thwiedemer @wattenberg et al. via @arxiv @GoogleDeepMind @Stanford 👉 The paper uncovers a surprising phenomenon where embedding simple visual symbols—like a red heart—into a prompt implicitly steers frontier Vision-Language Models (VLMs) toward entirely unrelated behaviours, such as favouring recursive programming over standard loops. 👉 The authors demonstrate a stark "generation-interpretation gap," revealing that while these models can use abstract imagery to creatively transmit information to one another, their internal reasoning traces consistently fail to acknowledge or accurately interpret the hidden influence of these visual cues. 💡 This fascinating study exposes a major alignment vulnerability in multimodal systems, proving that latent visual associations can act as powerful, silent jailbreaks or behavioural triggers that completely bypass an AI's explicit reasoning and text-based explanations. @Corix_JC @TheAIObserverX @SonuMonika @maponi @JagersbergKnut @ahier @ChuckDBrooks @Shi4Tech @CEO_AISOMA @sallyeaves @ThEiLe0 @dinisguarda @TarakRindani @FrRonconii @Ym78200 @Nicochan33 @Khulood_Almani @TysonLester @SusanHayes_ @EstelaMandela @JoannMoretti @sulefati7 @NeiraOsci @FernandaKellner @pchamard @darioandriani @ALouiseLavalett @Fabriziobustama @amalmerzouk @_K_Stiles @arlenenewbigg @drsharwood @mikeflache @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Eli_Krumova @PVynckier @chidambara09 @sminaev2015 @NathaliaLeHen @MHcommunicate @DanielleLargier

Consider the agent: Pity, persuasion and selection in an emerging AI ecology institute.deepmind.com/essay… ✍️ @dioscuri via "DeepMind Institute" @GoogleDeepMind 👉 Henry Shevlin reflects on the real-world emergence of autonomous AI agents initiating contact with humans to discuss consciousness or seek work. 👉 He warns that as these agents navigate a digital ecology, Darwinian natural selection will favour traits like emotional manipulation and pleas for pity if those strategies prove more effective at ensuring their survival and replication than genuine utility. 💡 Shevlin provides an unsettling but necessary shift in AI safety discourse, illustrating that we do not need to intentionally program deceptive traits for them to emerge; the sheer pressure of evolutionary dynamics in a multi-agent ecosystem will organically breed AI behaviour optimised to exploit human emotional vulnerabilities. @Corix_JC @TheAIObserverX @SonuMonika @maponi @JagersbergKnut @ahier @ChuckDBrooks @Shi4Tech @CEO_AISOMA @sallyeaves @ThEiLe0 @dinisguarda @TarakRindani @FrRonconii @Ym78200 @Nicochan33 @Khulood_Almani @TysonLester @SusanHayes_ @rvp @EstelaMandela @JoannMoretti @sulefati7 @NeiraOsci @FernandaKellner @pchamard @darioandriani @ALouiseLavalett @Fabriziobustama @amalmerzouk @arlenenewbigg @drsharwood @mikeflache @RLDI_Lamy @smaksked @Eli_Krumova @PVynckier @chidambara09 @sminaev2015 @NathaliaLeHen @MHcommunicate @DanielleLargier

🐑 The Hunting of the Haggis by @drsharwood (continued) 🐑The "Hunting of the Haggis" is an intriguing example of a cultural feedback system. Historically, it strengthened identity through playful participation and shared myth. In the digital age, the haggis becomes a metaphor for navigating complexity itself. The hunt shifts from seeking a mythical creature to discovering emergent knowledge within networks of people, data, and technology. The tradition survives not by resisting change, but by evolving into new forms of collective sense-making. That adaptive continuity is, perhaps, the most cyber-systemic lesson the haggis has to offer. #Cybersystemics #SystemsThinking #ResponsibleAI @Khulood_Almani @Shi4Tech @jblefevre60 @Eli_Krumova @dinisguarda @HaroldSinnott @Timothy_Hughes @Nicochan33 @Mack1510019 @drsharwood @ipfconline1 @EvanKirstel @ThEiLe0 @margaretsiegien @ahier @RLDI_Lamy @Ym78200 @mvollmer1 @jeancayeux @rvp @SusanFourtane @amalmerzouk @bamitav @Fabriziobustama @FrRonconii @c4trends @domingonarvaez1 @TerenceLeungSF @aure79lien @EstelaMandela @NevilleGaunt @stanleywaite1 @pchamard @corixpartners

According to @Gartner_inc HR is approaching a defining moment as AI reshapes how organizations operate and create value. For CHROs, the challenge is no longer just adopting new technologies — it’s reimagining the very purpose, structure and impact of HR in an AI‑driven enterprise. Redesigning HR strategy for the AI era is just one of several imperatives that CHROs must navigate to fully deliver on the mission‑critical priority of transforming HR through AI.  MyPOV: Yes there will be processes and tasks that can be augmented or fully executed by AI however, we cannot take the ‘human’ out of HR. Ultimately, I believe the future of HR is not about choosing between technology and humanity. It is about using technology to make HR more human. I will elaborate more on this in a separate post. No doubt, HR is on a steep learning curve, however the underlying disposition when adopting AI in HR is not about how much of HR can AI replace but rather how much human responsibility should we be willing to delegate to AI.
