“He jailed socialists, so he wasn’t a socialist.” This is the argument every single person in my replies thinks is a mic drop. It’s actually the weakest one available, and it collapses in five seconds. Lenin banned the Mensheviks and the Socialist Revolutionaries. Both were socialist parties. By your logic, Lenin wasn’t a socialist. Stalin shot Bukharin, Zinoviev, Kamenev, and sent an ice axe through Trotsky’s skull. All of them were founding fathers of the Bolshevik revolution. By your logic, Stalin wasn’t a socialist. Mao purged Liu Shaoqi, the President of the People’s Republic, and let him die in a cell. Pol Pot murdered his own cadres by the thousands. Robespierre sent Danton to the guillotine, then got the guillotine himself. There’s a reason Vergniaud said the Revolution, like Saturn, devours its own children. Purging rival socialists isn’t evidence against collectivism. It’s one of its most reliable signatures. Why? Because when the state decides everything, there can only be one plan. Two factions with two plans for the same economy can’t coexist. One has to disappear. In a free society, disagreements get settled by markets and elections. In a planned society, they get settled by the secret police. Hitler crushing the SPD and the KPD, then murdering Röhm and Strasser in his own party, is exactly what you’d predict from a regime competing for the same thing: total control of the economy and of society. And that’s the real question. Not “what did he call himself” and not “who did he arrest”. The question is: who runs the economy? Under the Nazis, independent unions were abolished and replaced by a state labor front. Prices and wages were frozen by decree. Investment was directed by a Four-Year Plan. Private property existed on paper, as long as owners did exactly what the state told them to do. Hayek saw this in real time. He dedicated The Road to Serfdom “To the socialists of all parties” precisely because he understood that the planners of the left and the planners of the right were the same species. Collectivism isn’t a color on the political spectrum. It’s the belief that a central authority can and should direct the economy. Once you accept that, the purges, the camps and the one-party state aren’t accidents. They’re the operating manual. So no, “he jailed communists” doesn’t refute anything. Communists jailed communists for seventy years. Read Hayek. Then come back.
This probably hits hard if you failed history in high school. Hitler was a far-Right fascist whose party was named the National Socialist German Workers' Party to attract working-class voters. Then he banned the Social Democratic and Communist parties, and sent socialists and communists to concentration camps.

If your bank said “Yeah, we’re gonna be shutting down soon and you’ll never get this money back” you wouldn’t make a deposit. So why are we still paying into Social Security while government keeps telling us it’s bankrupt / isn’t solvent?

All these people shouting the dangers of an imminent Democrat takeover were either silent, or cheering haughtily when Trump chose to prioritize Greenland, Spending, Venezuela, Bibi, Iran War, Epstein coverup, etc. etc. over his campaign promises that so many supported him for.

Manchester property revaluations are in. My house assessed "market value" went from $371,100 in 2025 to $641,700 in 2026 - an increase of $270,600 in one year. I would love to know the justification for that.

Statistically, The IRS takes a life every 78 seconds according to the government’s own data. Sounds like a good reason to repeal the income tax to me. Source: America.gov

The state IS a permanent aggressor against the public. Therefore force used to resist the same is not aggressive. We SHOULD treat the state as a permanent aggressor and aim to put it down, but wounding it won’t be enough. Unfortunately we sit in a position where such a strategy is unwise, as the state effectively has the drop on us, and drawing on a drawn gun is effectively suicidal. I also don’t believe physical force is capable of truly ending the state, and that which does not kill it makes it stronger. The state is a mind virus, you can’t shoot it, you could put down some of the zombies it has infected, but that is not a viable long term solution as history has demonstrated.
Wait... So all the left libertarians are outraged over what @LPNH said When their dear leader says this.... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Mark Levin’s stepson, David Milstein, who serves as an advisor to the U.S. ambassador to Israel, is soliciting cash gifts from Israeli citizens. On its face, this is just blatantly corrupt considering his official position, and invites a litany of counterintelligence threats. It also gives us a glimpse into how the pro-Israel echo chamber operates— Levin’s stepson and his boss, US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, are given Israeli talking points by Israeli officials. For example: “Iran is about to develop a nuclear weapon & we must attack now! Should only take 3-4 weeks for the regime to collapse…” Huckabee & Milstein then deliver these Israeli talking points via official US gov channels. Milstein also sends the talking points to his stepdad, Israel-first Fox News host Mark Levin, currently a favorite of President Trump’s. President Trump is briefed on the Israeli taking points from the State Department via the official channels, then tunes into Levin on Fox and hears the same talking points(!). Now, Milstein is offering people a chance to buy his attention with a nice cash “gift,” and then maybe he’ll help them get their talking points to his stepdad & in front of President Trump. Until we make accepting money from any entity or person loyal to any nation other than the United States legitimately and unbearably toxic for our leaders, this problem will persist and our policies will continue to be influenced by the interests of those who continue to put America last. This cannot stand.
