I have clearly angered the Twitter gods. An algorithm seems to be kicking out my followers without them knowing. If you can help me reach them again by RTing that would be wonderful.

30 years ago today, Roland Ratzenberger was killed when he crashed during qualifying at Imola, 24 hours before @AyrtonSenna died in another accident at the same circuit. Here are the two drivers running on track together earlier that weekend. #F1

Today is ANZAC Day, marking the 109th anniversary of the Australian and New Zealand landing at #Gallipoli.  Ataturk's wise words at the #ANZAC  memorial. A reminder of the futility of war #Çanakkale #Türkiye

Labradors - double coated, waterproofed & insulated - were bred from St John’s Water Dogs, carefully selected to retrieve fish from the semi-arctic waters of Newfoundland and Labrador for their fishermen owners. Here are 3 of them, begging to get inside to escape light drizzle.

Scientists on our #JunoMission to Jupiter have transformed data collected during recent flybys of Io into animations that highlight two of the Jovian moon’s most dramatic features: a mountain and a glass-smooth lake of cooling lava. See more science: missionjuno.swri.edu/news/na…

This isn't the best quality image, but it's sufficiently rare & charming to clean up: Taken 117 years ago in East Sussex, it's a candid shot of Edwardian children playing beneath the pier on Brighton beach in 1906, taken in colour by Otto Pfenninger using his own colour process.

The gentleman on the right is Adam Rainer, the only human being in recorded history to have been both a dwarf and a giant. Rainer was born in Austria in 1899, and by the time he was 19 years old, he was 4 ft 8 in (142 cm) tall. He tried to enlist in the military to fight in World War 1 but was told that he was too short. Then, due to a pituitary tumor, which led to an overproduction of growth hormones, he hit a remarkable growth spurt that allowed him to reach a height of 7 ft 2 in (218 cm) by the age of 33. His US shoe size was size 20 (EUR 53), and his hands measured 9.4 inches (23.9 cm). By the time of his death at age 51, he was 7 ft 8 in (234 cm) tall and weighed 241 pounds (109 kg).
