Wood & Beaumont are massive problems the M62 brigade have sabotaged growth of the game better than anyone look at London, France & Wales as classic examples. LOL at M62 bagging the current World Cup when they botched the last one they can’t be trusted.

If they want the temperature turned down, then do this: • Stop blaming every negative incident on the right • Stop selling the country out • Stop blaming citizens for your own failures • Stop trying to silence us • Stop imposing tyrannical laws in the name of safety • Stop swamping the country with migrants • Stop treating citizens like guests in their own country • Stop dividing people by race • Stop dividing people by sex • Stop erasing the definition of a woman • Stop the double standards on violence and rhetoric • Stop institutional capture and viewpoint discrimination • Stop soft-on-crime policies that ignore basic order • Stop treating biological sex as optional in policy • Stop economic and energy policies that raise costs for ordinary people • Stop elite hypocrisy on borders, schools, and security • Stop rewriting history and lowering standards • Stop selective enforcement of “disinformation” rules Until then, don’t lecture anyone about turning the temperature down. Stop gaslighting us!

State government true to form giving all the grovelling influencers transport nerds first run of the Bankstown Line metro instead of us locals that had to endure the replacement buses for 2.5 years

BREAKING: Anthony Albanese has been forced to admit he misled Parliament over $6m taxpayer gift to his local golf club. In September he stood in the House and claimed the Marrickville Golf Club grant was to fix a sewerage crisis, raw sewage flooding into the Cooks River every time it rains. “That is what the funding is for,” he said. Today he was dragged back and finally confessed the truth: “Not correct, it was not correct.” Department officials had already blown it up in Senate Estimates. Sewerage works were “not in the scope of the grant.” Full stop. When Dan Tehan moved to force him to own the lie, Labor’s numbers blocked it 87–44. Then, under repeated questions, Albanese tried the classic dodge: “During election campaigns, people make commitments.” Translation: I said whatever it took to get the money out the door to a mates’ club, and now the NSW Government is cleaning up the mess I invented. Peta Credlin called it exactly what it is “grey corruption” Invite only, shoulder tapped by Labor MPs, no open process, taxpayers ripped off. Misleading the House of Representatives over millions of your dollars. And Labor voted to protect him. This is the tip of the iceberg. How long before he stands down?

They built this part of the Sydney metro on time. It's the rich part. Our part, that has the highest density and lowest socio economic area that needs the metro is one year late and still not open. Don't tell me even our state govt planners do things according to need.

It’s ridiculous that Australia is getting Australian refs. Needs to change.

Check the World Cup results. Southern hemisphere dominating, so much so that England could miss semi finals. NRL doing a whole lot better job that UK RL. Poorly run is losing money, this world Cup will make money and has a 12m broadcast deal. You guys live in another reality. 🤣😂

You guys have presided over a period that has UK RL on its knees. You should not be lecturing anyone on anything.

Many were saying before the tournament that Tonga had the toughest draw - England, Lebanon & Samoa and needed to win at least 2 games. We should acknowledge how good Tonga have been. IMO, there is still a lack of respect in some quarters for the strength of the Pacific nations.

It's a truly special talent by Jason Saab to somehow be the worst player on the park whilst several part time footballers are playing

Albo, you can't lecture Australians about "turning the temperature down" when your office is running dirt sheets against those who criticised your dodgy Marrickville Golf Club grant.

Tonga and Samoa bring many Americans and Canadians for a start. Rugby league is becoming the sport of the global Pacific diaspora. From a media rights perspective that makes it more complex but it is untapped and a goldmine.

You’re missing the point completely, the growth of Rugby league holistic but in particular Internationally is dependent on Europe because of population and the size of the Economy. Tonga and Samoa bring nothing in terms of viewing or commercially.

You can blame soccer and any other boogeyman that you want. The fact is the RFL are to blame, they are corrupt, they do not promote the sport of Rugby League, they have no plans or strategy for growth outside of a few towns along the M62 and they hide and answer to nobody.
Slow death of rugby league is down to data, algorithms and football’s hegemonic ‘Big Six’ It’s one of Britain’s best-attended sports but you’d struggle to find the World Cup on TV. What hope do the rest have? ✍️ @RorySmith bit.ly/4yykinu

RFL Growth Strategy: -Watch Welsh Rugby Union collapse -Ignore 3 million potential converts -Evict the only Welsh club left in the league -Breathe in that M62 air -Wonder why Sky keeps slashing the TV deal Don't let anyone say the northern brains trust lacks ambition 🎯
