Marama Davidson said today that she thought govt debt interest rates were only 1% or maybe 1-2 % . When told it was over 4.9% Chloe said well very few MP’s would know that. 🤪

Erika Kirk is being protested at Middle Schools because she is forcing “school assembly” events via the administration.
I cannot stress enough how creepy this is.
It was never Charlie’s vision to force politics on middle schoolers via principals and administrations.
It was his vision to have students willfully create clubs, invite speakers and win people over with ideas.
If the Left was doing this, every person on the right would be calling this out.
Leave underaged kids alone.

You are completely lying through your teeth.
The judge quite literally dismissed me, and has not yet ruled on the dismissal of the remaining two entities, pending additional briefing.
Nothing was “moved forward”.
Why do you have zero shame?

Everything costs money. A dollar wasted is a dollar that cannnot be spent on cancer drugs or DOC rangers or hiring nurses. The confidence with which Tamatha Paul displays her naivety is astounding. Bless Nicole McKee @actparty

Nine days out. Luxon has ruled out Labour, the Greens, Te Pāti Māori and Opportunity. NZ First won't put Labour back in. Hipkins' only road to the Beehive is a four-party pile-up with the Greens, Te Pāti Māori and Opportunity. Know the red lines before you vote.

Huge congratulations to RNZ for its tireless work ensuring no New Zealander accidentally goes a full 2 days without a fresh update on the Opportunities Party. 7 Facebook posts, knife-edge polls, Coalition daydreams. Bottom lines. Ice cream. Even a post about National and Labour's health debate has a cheeky photo of Top's leader. You guys are fantastic!!

And the Greens best hope for a future Finance Minister said the same and then laughed nervously when she was called out for being so thick.

Winston Peters packed 450 into Lower Hutt last night and told them to give Chris Bishop their electorate vote. Luxon and Bishop pulled about 250 in the same Hutt in August. Electorate vote Bishop. Party vote NZ First or Act.

Good grief. The next finance minister nodding along. No wonder they want to massively increase borrowing.

Under @nzLabour this wasn't proposed to open until 2033!
Well done 👏

Most politicians SHOULDN'T be caught off-guard by that question, Chloe (ya munter).
You’ve got to be kidding! 🤬
New Zealand’s 10-year Government bond yield is around 4.9%, not 1–2%. Yet apparently, that’s what the Greens were working with until just a couple of hours ago.
Their plan relies on borrowing to fund their promises, but getting the interest rate wrong could leave taxpayers facing a much bigger bill.
Interest rates aren’t something politicians can simply laugh away.
But go on, chuckle along. It’s only our children’s futures you’re borrowing against. 😡
