What’s Ripple’s market cap?
BREAKING: President Trump announced a anti-fraud program that would pay people who expose fraud 1% of the money recovered. “If you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%,” he said.

Alpenglow is live. Landmark victory. Solana remains the best blockchain in the known universe, and now its not even close. Thank you @anza_xyz, solana validators and everyone in the ecosystem who contributed to this effort.
🏔️ MILESTONE: Solana's largest network upgrade ever, Alpenglow, is live. 150-millisecond finality, 85x faster than the previous 12.8-second benchmark. solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112

I wouldn’t say unprepared. A lot of that stake is on firedancer and many of those operators plan to switch over to v4.3.2 today. Also Agave v4.3.2 is recommended for the switch but v4.3.0 is also thoroughly tested and we do not expect any issues with that version.
🚨JUST IN: With about a day until @Solana’s Alpenglow activation, 151 validators holding 20.3% of the stake remain unprepared. @anza_xyz and the Solana Foundation are urging validators to prepare for the switch, as those without Agave 4.3.2, a BLS key, and sufficient vote account funds will stop voting and producing blocks after activation. Obviously 1T dense beats 1T sparse. But for fair running cost you’d compare vs ~5T with 200M active. Sparse can win there and use less energy. The real metric should be intelligence per energy.

Lmao. A million validators 🧠🪱
"Ethereum has a million contributors and a million validators. Solana has less than 800 validators and 92% running on one client" Joseph Chalom pushes back on the idea that Ethereum has a culture problem "There's this view that Ethereum has something around the narrative that's missing. Just look at the scoreboard again. It passed a million contributors to the code and the ecosystem. I'm not sure there's any open source blockchain project that's even close" "It has over a million validators when Solana has less than 800. It has five or six credible diversified software clients, whereas 92% of Solana is running on one client software system the last time I checked" "All the elements that matter, uptime, liquidity, developer community, composability, Ethereum is leading by miles"

This has been bleeding obvious to everyone for 18 months, since DeepSeek’s “Sputnik” moment - maybe marketing professor Galloway was distracted doing his NPR-friendly Andrew Tate for libs grift. DeepSeek showed just how badly the Americans have wasted their capital on poor engineering and hopium. Overnight, LLMs had become a commodity, and being open source, these models were going to be everywhere. The AI bubble was like giving Winsock a trillion dollars in 1994. There’s no value in something that’s a commodity. You’re not going to get your money back. And China is not “dumping”, it’s just how technology which has no defensible moat defuses out. And how open source software is supposed to work. They’re playing the Cold War card out of sheer desperation, while trying to make open source illegal. The USA has been crashed by the dumbest people in history - its VCs.
